Yes, a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Middle Tennessee State University.

IIRC, I have enough credits that I only need another 5 or 6 classes to get a second bachelor's in Business Education.

Hey, what's wrong with H1B universities for techies?  They're all Highly Skilled workers, right?

Psychology degree from a large socal university. Wanted to save the world. Worked two days at a mental health facility here in San Diego. Went into IT the next week.

In the 90's it wasn't too expensive. Went two years to a junior college then transferred. I did have a fun time.

Yes, and I’ve never used it. If I worked in the field it is in, I’d make 25% of what I make now, if not less.

Revise your pole and add a Master's, OP.

Of course!

The places that advertise in the back of Rolling Stone ARE accredited, right?

yes.  waste of time and money for me.

To be honest I didn't even get through highschool. I dropped out of highschool and got my GED before I would have graduated highschool, and went on to become a Microsoft Certified systems Engineer and other various computer related titles to boring to mention.

I said fuck the college experience and have done pretty good for my self if I do say so.

Are you a cop? If you are you have to say so. I saw it on TV.

[#19]
Nope.

My folks were too poor, but not poor enough, to afford schooling for me. When other kids turned 16 they got cars. I got permission to work 20-hours a week. When other kids were in their senior year their folks took them to college campuses. Mine started charging me rent and later drove me to the military induction center. Bless them for their wisdom.

I managed well enough. I had 19 college degree holding people working for me when I retired early and left them all still working away.

we've tried hiring people with associates degrees or various Microsoft certificates to do some entry level analyst positions - really just monkeys to bang on keys.

Rarely worked out - what a bachelors degree in a reasonable major from a real school shows more than anything else is the person is able to wade through some level of bull shit and get to the end / reach a goal.

Small sample might be not 100% accurate but we no longer hire external w/o 4 year degree - internal candidates with three ( or maybe four ) years experience at the company/ministry can be considered with approval from Div President and HR

I got one, then ended up getting a masters to make my professional accreditation easier-which I don't know actually worked, because I passed my accreditation exam in a couple month window when a master's degree did not matter (it mattered before and after, but there was a brief lapse in dates).

Then it really did not matter as I waited 3 more years to report my experience and actually get my license.
---
Not working in the field anymore - but still use the background knowledge fairly often.  Maintaining my license if I have to go back and get a real job sometimes in the future.

School was never for me.  Give me a book and I can teach myself anything, sitting in a classroom I can't learn anything.  My wife is amazed by my ability to read a book and master almost any skill.

I wanted to get something to help with soft skills back in the day.  I was told by several people that if you want critical thinking skills, you either go into history or logic.  I also have a major-concentration in psychology. Since moving into management positions it has made the human element a lot easier to approach.

Reverse Polish notation, FTW!

BS.

It was mostly a waste of time. Taught me how to study and work hard though, so it counts for something. The actual subject material? Meh

BA in Psychology with a minor in Visual Arts, specializing in film criticism.  I can tell you all about the use of space in Kiss Me Deadly.

Psychology has changed a lot since I got my degree.  Gender Dysphoria is no longer classified as a disorder, and Borderline Personality Disorder was not defined back then.
