I knew there were some guys here that watched that show, but I had no idea it was that popular here.

I have two little girls, so yes I have watched it. My wife and I are firm believers in knowing what our children watch. Is it a show I'd buy for myself? NO. But my girls are excited about it so it does get shown on our TVs. If any of you want to hate on me for that, suck it I've watched worse...that stewpid aussie group the wiggles, which was pure torture. My little pony is many times better than that abomination.

I watched an episode of MLP, where they were on some apple ranch out west fighting buffalo. It was funny. However, Adventure Time is the best cartoon out right now and there's no legitimate argument against that.

I watch a disturbing amount of cartoons according to my wife. So I eventually got to the MLP show and decided to watch an episode to see how it was. I didn't care for it... it seems to be a very acquired taste kind of thing.

I won't harsh on the bronies. Hell I walk around quoting Regular Show.

I gave it "the ol' college try" by watching season 1

It wasn't terrible, even for a basement dwelling arfcommer adult, but I wasn't fascinated by it.

I've seen several episodes. Probably about half of season one and a few from season 2. I do intend on watching the rest.

I don't know when it airs or what channel. I don't watch it as it airs. I don't go to conventions. It's simply one of many shows I enjoy and not a very high priority show at that.

I do find the hysteria people have about people who are actually fans of the show amusing. I may have a few images stored away expressly for messing with those people who get hysterical...

My little girl loves that show. I have seen every episode, though not by choice. I like to spend time with my little girl, that's what she wants to do. So we watch it. I laugh at some of it. But I ain't watching that shit on my own.

To me, bronies are no different than Trekkies or Star Wars devotees or people that love comic books. Those people all have action figures, and play dress up, write fanfic, and yes, even make pr0n about it. For the vast majority, it's purely entertainment, but you get the occasional one that takes it to extremes (i.e. pony pr0n). MLP isn't my thing, but neither are comic books.

I think a lot of people get hung up on the fact that it's a cartoon originally intended for little girls, but there were plenty of adults obsessed with Pokemon and Sailor Moon too. I just don't get why the extreme disgust is directed at bronies specifically, when pretty much every geek subculture has a few of "those" members, and the rest are just people enjoying what they like.
