Seriously, I'm down with this idea.

I think a better option is a thread. Threads get traction, both PSA and Magpul are industry partners. Plus, it's literally a thread to give them money. If there's a market, they'll do it for sure

Better to have loved sand PMAGS and lost, than to never have tried to get sand PMAGS at all.

I hope Magpul has something planned. They are slacking in the colors department big time currently!

You know, guys, all they have to do to produce albino mags is not add color to the mix. I bet we could talk a retailer into talking Magpul into doing a limited run of albino something... like D60 mags
View Quote
Take a gander at the dates on all of your Sand colored mags.   All of the ones I have are old as fuck so I don't see why Magpul would throw down a run if it took this long to get all of the ones they produced a couple of years ago out of the system.

PSA, absolutely....Magpul? I have my doubts about their motivations sometimes. Not saying they are HK, but if it's not mil contact related, it's not exactly high on the priority list it seems.

Do you guys know of mags in stock anywhere other than surplus ammo? Shipping is $18 and I just don't know if I can bring myself to do that.

Nah I'm just kidding. Thanks for the link, guess thats what I get for waiting. $12 a mag isn't that bad, I just hate expensive shipping on principle.

ETA: I Fo'ed. Now I have to decide how many get orange and how many get yellow... I want a way to permanently get some kind of banana sticker on them.

If we get a 1000 roll of them, it'll be super cheap to mail to each other (from whoever gets the roll).

Just under boiling.

Nucleate boiling is fine, but you don't want a rolling boil.

(I doubt it will hurt anything, but you'll just lose water too fast that way)

Half of an 8oz dye bottle and about a gallon of water... but we added water as it boiled off.

The ratio didn't have any real effect. Time is waaay more important. 6 to 7 mins is the sweet spot.

After 8 it gets more orangish.
