Male news hosts aren't allowed to wear board shorts and T shirts, but you don't hear them complaining about it. |

Not sure not renewing your contract equals getting fired in the legal sense....same result but not likely not the same.
I'd wager Fox was flooded with negative opinions of her when she came out on favor of gun control....and while the gun controlling statist O'reilly's ratings can weather that storm....she evidently could not. |

I find this odd.
FNC had a hot stand-in named Kieran Chetry years back. She apparently tried to muscle Carlson out, and Ailes fired her. Carlson should be loving Ailes, because most CEOs would have done the deal for the hot girl. |

View Quote Chetry was not fired, her contract was coming up for renewal and they failed to reach an agreement so Roger gave her the option of leaving early. No one knows if the Carlson thing was real or not. From first hand experience Chetry was a super cool lady and had a pair of legs to die for. Maybe we can bring back the Dhue as it seems like she has dried out now. |

I think it sucks if it's true, my problem is that's a big if at this point. Calling the issues between her and Doocy "sexual harassment" is just plain wrong, and reeks of sensationalism that the left often panders in with racism and sexism. Don't like something someone did or said? Call it racist or sexist, BOOM, trigger word, everyone hates you now. It completely invalidates the actual racism and sexism that occurs because everyone gets tired of the false uses that regularly happen.
While i'm inclined to dislike her because of her AR-15 stance (the fact that she was on the chopping block now sheds light on why she was so bold with those statements, she knew she was on the way out so the backlash didn't matter), i don't hold with saying fuck her because of them. If this stuff truly happened, then they deserve to be in trouble for it. |

If this stuff truly happened, then they deserve to be in trouble for it. View Quote You're conflating two separate incidences and legal doctrines. Sexual harassment and hostile work environment are often and erroneously lumped together, but they have distinct elements making up the two infractions. Doocy was creating a hostile work environment and Roger Ailes is seemingly engaging in sexual harassment. One occurred in 2009, according to part of complaint posted on page 1, in this thread. Both infractions need to have a pattern of behavior over time, meaning that with sexual harassment, you get one, maybe two bites at the apple before that pattern/time element is fulfilled. You ask a girl out at work and she says maybe. You ask her again and she says she'll have to check her schedule out, but no...not this week. You ask her again the following week and she tells you she'll think about it. Later in the week, you get called into HR and told that the girl is stating that you're sexually harassing her. That's not sexual harassment. She needs to make it known to you that your solicitations (or compliments) are unwelcomed and absent that, the behavior isn't harassment, since you were never told to cease and desist. H.W.E. is kind of what Steve Doocy was doing, if the alleged facts are true and would create a hostile work environment, especially if GC had made her superiors known of his behavior and they failed to remedy his hostile behavior. I got a B+ in Employment Discrimination in Law School, but that was 30 years ago. Chris |

And yeah, Carlson was pretty much at the very bottom of the "most likely to be sexually harassed" list at Fox News. Quite true. If I'm going to get sued for sexual harassment, I'll make a run at Tantaros, Guilfoyle and Any number of younger minxes Fox employs. |

I'm guessing she's simply come up with a way to make some bucks when they didn't renew her contract. Sexual harassment and hostile environment? Sounds like a surefire settlement to me.

You all see this as the perfectly timed "issue" that will serve to divide women from men come election time right?
Hilary will be along shortly to point out the unfairness that women face from their rich, white, male bosses, you know, like Trump. Wag that dog you fucking socialist cunts. She be openly working on Hillary's behalf soon. |
