I wonder where Lancelot Link was?
———- The Beverly Hills, 90210 actor, 59, in a clip posted to TMZ, was seen clashing with one mini-bike rider, after which he fended off attacks from multiple other riders in the group, who were wearing helmets in the exchange. The incident involving Ziering, who played the role of Steve Sanders on the Fox series from 1990 to 2000, took place on Hollywood Boulevard with the Ghirardelli Soda Fountain & Chocolate Shop visible in the background. At one point, the Sharknado actor was pictured running across the street in an effort to escape the onslaught from multiple attackers While dozens of onlookers were gathered at the popular spot on New Year's Eve, no one appeared to intervene on Ziering's behalf in the incident https://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-12915837/Ian-Ziering-attacked-group-mini-bikes-Hollywood-Boulevard-traffic-altercation-LAPD-continue-probe-violent-incident.html |

No pics of the bikes. Ill assume they were able to make a clean getaway thanks to their 5hp Briggs engines with centrifugal clutches.
Or maybe not all minibikes were as shitty as mine. |

Lately I've noticed more mini bikes cruising around the streets out here. They don't take side streets like back in the day when you were trying to hide from the cops, they are cruising on major roads with traffic. Also been seeing lots of FAST EV offroad type bikes cruising on the streets. Might have to get me one of those.

View Quote Sucks is we used to have a city ordinance banning bicycles that are not pedal powered. They took it off the books a couple years ago now we have a bunchof idiots running around with lawn mower engines hooked up to their bikes causing havoc around town. The Battery Bike Brigade isnt much better. Newest problem is the hood rats riding around on dirt bikes and quads. |

View Quote There's a bar in Stillwater, OK named The Tumbleweed, a relatively known place. Stillwater was also a bit of a hotbed for MX racers in the late 90s, early 2000s. Somehow these things came together and we ended up racing pitbikes through the bar a couple times per year. Most of the track was outside but a little loop ran through part of the bar itself and it was slippery as wet cowshit. But soooooo much fun. Show up have a few beers, run a heat, have a few beers, run a heat and maybe wipe out. Then put your bike away and get hammered in dirty riding gear. College was awesome. |

Haha as soon as I saw 90210 I somehow knew it would be Ian Ziering. He’s super punchable, he used to go to the same bar as my friends and I went to on Thursdays called Pelican’s Retreat in Calabasas, he’d be on the dance floor in his red Corvette ballcap trying to hook up with local younger girls. Early-mid 90s. Total dork.

View Quote I had YSRs also. One was all Team Calamari’d out with a 60cc kit and a candy blue paint job, and the other was a full custom drag bike with a YZ125cc engine, an 8” extended swingarm, and a 12” car tire on the back. Those bikes are worth some money now. |

I have a theory...
One can tell how a soon-to-be-former first world neighborhood is to becoming third world based on per-capita quantity of scooters and stolen/unreg'd/uninsured dirt bikes there are in the area. |

Did you see Sharknado 6? I'm not saying it's right but I understand.

Should have stayed in his car.
Even if they're fucking with your ride you know if you touch one they'll all attack, which they did. If you hurt one it's going to cost you more than a new car because California will prosecute the person with a job and money over some miscreant. |

The dude at the end was definitely gearing up to use that helmet on the 90210 guy.
That definitely could of been a serious problem. |
|
I saw him in the nineties when he was a famous just after 90210. Nicest guy of all the celebrities that were in the airport waiting for a flight. He hung out with the airport workers in the terminal shooting the shit, instead of hiding behind assistants like the other celebrities that were all going to a ski event.
