Good example.
Subway has followed the trend of doubling prices for increasingly mediocre food.
Meanwhile, publix offers the same fesh baked bread, cuts straight out of the deli counter display, and portions.
For under ten bucks for a whole sub, which is two meals for a normal person.
SURE,it's a buck or two more than a few years ago, but nowhere near the doubled prices in fast food.
I'm sure margins are thin, but fast food is quickly pricing itself out of the majority of its previous customer base.
It's neither affordable or fast for the plummeting quality.
