He told me he almost went with Eastern in '69 but chose Delta instead. Flew the 727 onto the seniority list first page as I recall. Then went to the Tri-Star until retired. That low thrumm-hum of the L10-11 with just a little throttle bump was a sweet sound. |

I always liked this United paint scheme. Another one that I think is cool is Air New Zealand. |
