Fight between sales manager and general sales manager at Toyota dealership in Milpitas CA |
|
Lol too much money, ego, and occasionally steroids, in a small area among alpha-type males will do that
What Toyota dealer is this? That GSM just pissed away whatever GM slot he was getting preened for Edit: if you're going to fight, take it out back to the detail bays where there's no cameras or customers watching |

Big dude handed out some blows lol. Also am I the only one who would refrain from recording? Makes you the next target.
If I was amped like that and saw a camera pointed at me I'd be snatching phones I'd think. |
|
Interesting it says it was between sales manager and general manager.

I know of a GSM that went through a Mexican restaurant drive-thru while drunk. Lady forgot his sour cream and so he pulled a gun on her. Made the local news stations. He was fired and rehired 30 days later because "he's a really good sales manager" |
|
Let them fight. Too bad they don't do that every day till there's none of them left.

Tony, you've got to buy donuts for a month. Derek, you have to supply coffee and it better be the good shit and not Black Rifle this time bro! Now, lets get out there and hit that quota and remember there's a spiff on Tercels! |

With the quality of human that works at dealerships, I can't say I'm surprised.

Quoted: Probably over whether or not they could throw in the floormats. It’s funny you mention that one a few of the comments stated it was caused over commission on upscale items like floor mats. Not sure how true it is but they state that the salesman made the sale but one of the managers gave the commission to his brother who had nothing to do with the sale. |

I sold cars for a short time in the 90's crazy things go on after hours. Sometimes during business hours. Drugs hookers, fights, fucking.

Not surprising. I never heard a 10 year old say they wanted to grow up and be a car salesman. It's not like that industry attracts stellar personalities.

Worked at a Ford stealership cleanup on new cars. Used car cleanup guy was bitching because salesman didn't use a jimmy hat while getting it on in the back of a used Aerostar van. |

They had a difference of opinion but, they both agree that the new Tundra looks like warmed over shit.

I expected the shady salesmen look, wasn't disappointed..... but...... wasn't expecting to see some Haymakers being thrown, lol.

surprised this doesn't happen more actually
probably fighting over the TruCoat |

been there... he was told his 10k cut of monthly sales didn't qualify or some thing along those lines and he was getting $800 instead... and then it started.

When I was in college in northwest, Indiana, I was at a Nissan dealership with my 300ZX getting an oil change. While I was sitting in the waiting room, this kind of agitated coked up looking salesman approaches me all excited and tells me that he’s got a customer in the store that’s going to give me $9000 cash for my car right now. at the time it blue booked for about $15k. He didn’t even ask. He just said I’ve got a customer who’s gonna give you $9000 cash! I’m like it’s not for sale. He replies what if I could get him to go up to 10? I said it’s not for sale at any price.
he actually started to get pissed off and I could see something was off with this dude. I told him to go away and leave me alone. I could actually see him in another part of the building through a glass wall all worked up, like he was going to come at me, and a couple of employees were physically restraining him. It was really bizarre, and I was not rude to him. There really wasn’t much more said between us than what I’ve said here. I don’t know if he kept his job because I obviously never went back there. This was a clean-cut white dude in a suit. I did get the feeling he was on Coke, just by his accelerated movements and fast talking. I carried a Glock 17 back then. Small of the back. It was the 90s and that was the only place I could hide it on my skinny little body. |

One better than that. Cleanup kid finds a used rubber in the owners Explorer demo. Cleanup kid is the owner’s son. |

I can see them making a commercial out of the videos: "We're fighting hard to give you the best deal"

Probably fighting over the lack on inventory on-site. Toyota, unlike GMC, Ford & Dodge/Ram, sells their inventory before it is on-site. While GMC, Ford & Dodge/Ram are still insanely marking up their products and even reducing production (GMC), Toyota is not doing either. Yes, they mark up a bit, but not to the insane levels of U.S. manufacturers. Also keeping production rolling. There was nothing on-site of my local Toyota dealership a couple of weeks ago, but U.S. maker dealerships had quite a bit of inventory on hand.
