Everything at an Indian buffet and everything on a Thai menu
Seriously go to an Indian restaurant that has a lunch buffet special and try it all. So good. |

Ethiopian food is an adventure. View Quote There used to be a Swiss restaurant up in Warren that was incredible, but I'm pretty sure they went out of business. They had better schnitzel than a lot of places places I ate at in Germany and the deserts were seriously dangerous because after you tried any of them you wanted all of them because they were just that damn good. |

Not nearly as exotic as the other suggestions, but I like anything with mole sauce. That's another country, right?

Pho - Vietnamese Soup of Awesomeness
Shawarma - Middle Eastern Food of Awesomeness Peka - Croatian Stew of Awesomeness ETA - I've been to a lot of places, but have NEVER eaten so well for the $$ as Croatia, especially on the coast. There's a huge Italian influence. And labor is still cheap enough that they still make everything fresh in the restaurants - at least outside of the tourist areas. |

Sushi. COOKED sushi. I can't recommend raw sushi, as there's a risk of food poisoning. (Proper raw sushi is frozen to kill bacteria but I still don't trust it.)
Miso Soup. |

Schweinshaxen (German food, its also called pork knuckle or pork shank in English) with spaetzle and gravy

Chili with beans.
Not sure where it came from but it's not American. |
