I don't know about most but I never met anyone who does this....sour cream and black olives on top of my chili, beans or no beans doesn't matter. Also, I like jalapeno peppers sliced with chunks of pickles on a reuben sandwich.

Brussel sprouts.

Pickled beets in corn beef hash.

Dutch licorice.

Roasted kale leaves.

Mashed potatoes mixed with kale and ham, butter and salt.

Tomato soup with hamburger, nutmeg and black pepper. ( I think most people like this but few people have tried it.)

Not a lot of people in the US appreciate blood sausage.

I really like it.   I don't understand why people don't like congealed pig's blood, with raisins, sugar and cinnamon.

My wife has steadfastly refused to even try it.

Pig stomach stuffed with chopped ham, onions, egg, bread sometimes with yam or sweet potato, and spices. We buy ours smoked. Delicious.

Haggis
Any form of raw beef
All sushi except for sea urchin and cuttle fish
Pork cooked medium rare
All tinned fish
Raw clams, oysters, whelks, etc.
Vegetable cream cheese on a chocolate doughnut

Pickled whelks are one of my favorite seafood delicacies!  My wife won't even watch me eat them, she wants puke when I get them.  Personally I think they are amazing.

Good start. I'd add liver and onions, vienna sausages, tapenade, steak tartare, smoked oysters, sardines, rollmops, cottage cheese...hell, there isn't a lot I won't eat.

On the exotic side, I've had balut in the PI and raw pork spread (common in the Netherlands) and neither phased me.

On the mexican side of things, I like mole de pollo a lot, and have heard other people say they hate it.

Also like a lot of very hot/spicy foods.

I really love Thai chicken curry, and I have places make it as hot as they can fix it.

Mole can vary not only regionally, but simply from family to family. It’s much like curry in the fact that Mexico shares climate zones with India, so both places can grow exotic fruits, vegetables and chiles.

I have several brands of fish sauce in my cupboard and Kimchi in the fridge.  I have been trying to master perfect egg fried rice too.  (Uncle Roger's not here man!)

The only thing enjoyable about my trip to Belarus was the stupid cheap high end caviar and potato vodka.  Every other aspect sucked.
