Just an 11B here. Came with small packs of cigarettes. I didn't smoke. I could trade 1 pack for fruit cocktail and a chocolate cookie. Heck, just remembered- cleaning out folks house to sell and settle estate I found my old duffel bag and uniforms in the attic. And some old c-rations. Some cans were damaged but some still looked ok. Might dig those up and see if they're still good after almost 50 years.

Beef tongue.  Boiled is fine but also great in tacos de lengua.
Eel, octopus, squid....pretty much any seafood.
Head cheese.

I'm from Ohio. There's no way I'm getting tricked into answering this question. The commentary beat down would be epic.

Goyim here ... Ex-wife is a Bukharan Jew. I devoured her mom's chicken liver pate and any gefilte fish she set on the table.

SOS, Rocky Mountain Oysters, rattlesnake.

I learned to stop questioning what I was eating when I was in Syria.  I probably ate a shit ton of goat.

Roasted peanuts... SHELLS ON. As in I don't open the shells. Eat them as is. If the first couple don't tast right, I will shell the rest of the portion. The best ones were at The Old San Francisco Steak House.

A lot of folks say they hate fruitcake.

This is the one they're missing.

I tear their big one up every year.

I love fruit cake, good bakery and even the cheap brick. I'm going to order one of those

Did the major Jewish holidays with a GF and her family for a number of years and gefilte was put on the table every time and it left the same way as it was put down. No one touched that crap and it stank up the room. The mother put it out because her mother did.

Raw abalone - (harvest, chill, slice the foot while it's almost dead, eat with ground ginger (fresh) + soy sauce + lemon juice). We used to get sea urchins and other things too, but the abalone was the only thing I liked.

I forgot about goat. Our hosts in the PI put on a goat roast after every Cope Thunder. The Filipinos can do a damn good goat. So can the Greek, btw. Greeks do outrageously good calamari, too. Skinned goat skulls with the eyeballs still in place in the supermarket butcher coolers take some getting used to.

The German chefs-in-training got fresh rabbit when the farmers did their double barrel, line abreast pest control. That was the best (and only) hasenpfeffer I've ever had in my life.

Having lived in Japan for several years my palate has been broadened extensively. Things I absolutely love:

raw horse meat
almost all sashimi except uni (sea urchin).
pig tongue
motsu (cold shredded and pickled pig intestines)
natto

On the non Japanese side of things:

saurkraut
pineapple on pizza
black licorice
pickled onions
kimchi
