Meh..Tom Hanks.  Good in that role but probably the most over-rated actor out there.  Just can't get him out of my head as Joe in "Joe vs the Volcano".

There are some people in Hollywood that when you see them on the screen, you see the character being portrayed and not the actor portraying the character.  Tom Cruise is one of those people, Stephen Lange is another one.

Tom Hanks ?  All i see is Tom Hanks playing whomever.

Jenny did a few good things in life and she became a better person before dying.

But Pulp Fiction and Casablanca are better films.
Jenny died of hepatitis.
I thought she died of HIV/AIDS??

Yeah, this one beats Forrest for sure.  And people didn't even have to like war movies to appreciate SPR.

It's my favorite movie.

One of those "if you find it on TV you'll start watching it regardless of what point in the movie you're at"

#4 was just a rehash of #2 with slightly better production values.
Did you mean #3? That one was a masterpiece of cinematic storytelling.

I'm more of a purist, I have to go with ASG #1, the lower budget quality brings a gritty visceral feeling to the film, you really get pulled in to the scenes almost like you're standing in the room with the actors holding a bottle of lube.
