Refiners current losing money on the gasoline market. Economics just aren’t there.
Distillates and heavier products are doing good. |

what I wouldn't give for some $1.50/gal regular unleaded and a mean tweet
WTF? Raise the price to $6 gallon, then back the price down to $4 and brag about how you lowered fuel prices by $2 gal The vapid stupidity of the masses is breathtaking |

I saw something that nappy headed hoe at the white house bragging that the price of eggs are down. Well ya, they are down from an all time high price spike of 2022, which also happened under your watch. |

Economics just aren't there. Distillates and heavier products are doing good. Losing money because the market is oversaturated? Lower demand? Over saturation of the gasoline market currently. Part of it is, sure, lower demand. Part of it is just the cut of crudes being processed in the U.S. currently. Part of it is regional for me. Part of it is basically all the refineries are up and running right now. We’ve had a great streak the last few months of high refinery utilization. I had dinner with the fuel marketing side of a refiner on Monday. My market is tough for them. And PBF Lima came back online, as well as PBF Toledo. So two more refineries in the region putting gasoline into pipelines in the region. There’s a lot of gasoline on the market right now over all. Not enough diesel fuel because we’re still exporting the shit out of it to Europe. We’re also importing a lot of finished grade gasoline product from other countries currently. Which is driving down the refinery margins here. Odd times. Good for the consumer to drive gasoline prices down. |

Pretty cheap these days when you work it back to 2000 prices with an inflation calculator:
Attached File But since everyone says the government's numbers are even higher than reported, I guess that would make gas even cheaper today in 2000 dollars than this calculator shows. Salad days for gas again? |

3.44 gal big reason oil is down Obiden lets Iran Venzi sell oil causing terrorism we pay for now or later+nov 5 2024 a questionable election later it goes back up-the end

I saw diesel for $3.59 this AM at a Chevron. Most places in town are still at 3.99 or 4.19.
I also paid $4.97/lb for a couple nicely marbled chunks of choice ribeye roast yesterday. You usually have to buy the entire primal cut to get that price and it is no where near choice. Crazytown. |

Quoted: It's not AK guys (although it's high there, and Caribou Hunter sees the worst) it's "Trollslayer" and his Cali butt buddies who post the dumb ass prices with no real location. $2.69 in Winchester, KY. View Quote Just checked where I used to live in Solano County, California. Looks like around $4.30 to $4.60 a gallon. |

$2.45 at Sam's Club
$2.55 at Kroger $2.59 at Bell Store St Clairsville, OH when I passed by this morning. Funny how they're coming down as election season ramps up. |

View Quote It's coming down because the economy is slowing down. The economy is slowing down because the Fed has raised interest rates to fight inflation. I wouldn't say that's going to be good for the Democrats in 2024 because short term pain is all it takes for swing voters to swing. |

Still $4.25+ for unleaded.
