I never look at the P.P.G. cost, its too painful and you can't do much about it, but try to drive less....
Last fill up was about 80.00, I think in my 2011 Silverado. |

I filled up for $4.29 last night and was surprised to see it so low. I can't remember the last time gas prices started with a 3 around here

Enjoy it while you can. The only reason it dropped is because of the up coming election.

Cumberland farms is at $2.96 or $2.86 with members card .
Good number of the regular stations are still at $3.59 . How can folks be that stupid? I wonder if the drop is just normal market seeking its own level (by all reports we have plenty of oil here in the USA) or if the Biden machine is somehow aiming to have super low prices by the election? Kind of hard to push electric cars when pump gas gets near or below $2.50 |

Quoted: Pretty cheap these days when you work it back to 2000 prices with an inflation calculator: https://www.ar15.com/media/mediaFiles/178958/Capture_JPG-3059130.JPG But since everyone says the government's numbers are even higher than reported, I guess that would make gas even cheaper today in 2000 dollars than this calculator shows. Salad days for gas again? View Quote Your assumptions is that your dollar is worth the same today as it was in 2000. |

$2.58 gal at Murphy near me. It seems that for the last 6 months or so the gas prices have ping-ponged up and down as much as 10 cents or more per gallon in a day or two. Gas was about $2.89 here less than a week ago.

Quoted: what I wouldn't give for some $1.50/gal regular unleaded and a mean tweet WTF? Raise the price to $6 gallon, then back the price down to $4 and brag about how you lowered fuel prices by $2 gal The vapid stupidity of the masses is breathtaking View Quote It got down to $1.20 here during COVID. My gas cans were happy. |

$3.19 today but it was $3.25 a few days ago...the prices have been trending down, but still about a buck more a gallon since FJB took office.

Quoted: Wildly fluctuating here. 2.99 on one side of town this morning, 2.48 on the other. Next town over, it's 3.29 View Quote Same in MI and metro Detroit. Typical price is around 2.9x to 3.2x, but drive a mile or two away and it could be 40 to 50 cents less. If op is really interested, all you have to do is go to gas buddy and look on the map. Seems way easier than wasting site resources. |
