Jumped 30 cents overnight here in Michigan. Filled up yesterday at 4.99, to day it's 5.29.
Don't worry though, dems are helping FJB buy solar panels from overseas. Our salvation is near at hand.

I had soft plans for a similar length trip later this summer to visit my son in Seattle. It is temporarily cancelled, just cannot afford $6+ a gallon gas. It was going to be a 3 week trip with 20 or so motel nights, meals, etc. All that money lost to the various towns we were going to visit on the way out and back. One traveler is not going to make or break any small town or motel, but I bet there are hundreds of thousands of trips being cancelled or scaled back.

I'm still looking into it.  I just started working on the design.  I haven't seen anyone offering anything like that yet.  There are some companies online that offer bulk sticker production for around $50 for 1,000 stickers plus shipping.  That's 5 cents a sticker.  Ordering 100 stickers instead of 1,000 only cuts the price in half, not by 90% so bulk is better.

Feel free to use the design I posted if you want.  If I have time I'll create other designs and start a thread about it.

A station I went to today was up to $4.80/gallon.  Two others were at $4.999

About 13 US states are over the $5 mark and the average US price is approaching $5.

National average:

$4.919  (AAA, 7 June 2022)

States with average at least $5 a gallon:

Alaska,         Arizona,    California,     Hawaii,      Illinois,      Indiana,     Maine,      Massachusetts,       Michigan,       New Jersey,          Nevada,      Oregon,       Washington

But in colorado regular is 85 octane. My ecoboost doesn't do well with 85 so I have to jump to at least mid grade. A couple of places in parker $4.99 for mid but most over $5.
