Anyone watch the live in front of a studio audience reenactment of Facts of Life and Diff’rent strokes?
Blair’s still got it I think Kevin Hart is marginally taller than Gary Coleman was. ‘Live in front of a studio audience’ |

There's no group of people better equipped to deal with stress. When executives at Nike studied Gen X it found the generation's hallmarks are "flexibility," "innovation," and "adaptability." "They have developed strong survival skills and the ability to handle anything that comes their way," the study says.

I never watched the facts of life as a kid but watched different strokes all the time. The special last night was pretty good. Loved the retro commercials

Quoted: GenX best generation View Quote "God damn it, an entire generation pumping gas, waiting tables, slaves with white collars. Advertising has us chasing cars and clothes, working jobs we hate so we can buy shit we don't need. We're the middle children of the history man; no purpose or place, we have no Great war, no Great depression. Our great war is a spiritual war, our great depression is our lives. We've been all raised by television to believe that one day we'd all be millionaires and movie gods and rock stars, but we won't and we're slowly learning that fact. And we're very very pissed off." |

You know you're Gen X when one of your life goals is to never work for another boomer, and to retire before you have to work for a millennial.

Just made it in. Born in 80.
Being 41 I feel the "get off my lawn" spirit brewing inside though. |

As a reward for good grades in 7th grade me and some students got to go see an episode of Different Strokes being filmed in 1982. Was a lot of fun!
