Sad but true.

The amount of people that have been trucked in from liberal areas over the last 5-10 years is staggering.

Will Ferrell to stump for Abrams near KSU

A Hollywood staple is entering Georgia’s race for governor — and Cobb County — as actor and comedian Will Ferrell is expected to head to Kennesaw this afternoon to stump for Democrat Stacey Abrams.

Ferrell is expected to stump for the Democratic candidate during what’s been hailed as a “Meet and Greet” at the Varsity near Town Center Mall, according to Abrams’ campaign website.

Please do, and post an AAR. If he declines the challenge based on residing in CA or NYC, and/or unfamiliarity with state level issues, destroy him for having the gall to be there. Verbally destroy, I mean.

Republicans lead Democrats in early voting by 9 points.  To my memory, that has never happened.

This could be another Karen Handel blowout.
How is that known other than exit polling or speculation? If it is being reported by the AJC it is probably an attempt to get the D's to get out and vote. If it is being released by the SOS office Abrams will claim it to be manipulation and suppression. I'll wait for the 11/06 results with my fingers crossed.
Fox news article

Republican voters have taken the lead in turnout numbers in Georgia, Indiana, Montana, Texas, Tennessee, Florida and Arizona -- states that Fox News analyses show are the scenes of close and pivotal House, Senate and gubernatorial races.
Republicans are similarly outpacing Democrats by 11 points in Arizona, 6 points in Florida, 9 points in Georgia, 12 points in Indiana, 17 points in Montana and 10 points in Texas, the analysis shows.
Imagine that !

I work at a facility that is hosting early voting. (I am not BOE staff) Voter turnout has been heavier than 2016!!!  We’re seeing 350/day for a small rural community, which is really encouraging.

Oprah to Campaign for Georgia Democrat Stacey Abrams

Entertainment mogul Oprah Winfrey will travel to Georgia this week to campaign on behalf of the state’s Democratic gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams, according to reports.
BuzzFeed News says Winfrey will hold two town hall events with Abrams in DeKalb County and Cobb County on November 1, and then go door to door to pushing residents to vote early in the Peach State.

“I am honored to have Oprah join me for uplifting and honest conversations with voters about the clear choice before us in this election and the boundless potential of Georgians,” Abrams told BuzzFeed News.

If what I saw in the media today was correct early voting is open different times in different counties. Some longer and later in the day. Somehow that does not seem right.

This race is a perfect contrast between Democrat and Republican.

Democrat:

Grew up in a larger city
Poli Sci degree
Never had a job that wasn't political/government

Republican:

Grew up more or less rural
Looks like he has an Agricultural/Farming degree
Built spec houses (IE independent/small business)

Shit like this is why I hate Democrats. They never do anything except work for the government or for their party.

EXACTLY!  The HOUSE will most likely still be 2/3s Republican.  She can push it and try to add it to something else to get it passed, but it is very unlikely short term.  However, we must prepare for the future.
