Michael B. Jordan wants to get people to the polls next month.

In an effort to increase voter turnout in this year's midterm elections, the Creed star went door-knocking in Atlanta, surprising black families and urging them to cast their ballots on Nov. 6.

In a new video, released on Wednesday in partnership with Color of Change PAC — the nation's largest online racial justice organization — Jordan excitedly says, "We about to go surprise some people real quick, knock on some doors! It's crunch time, everybody. Y'all got to get out and vote."

When Jordan introduced himself to the unsuspecting families, many of them were visibly shocked and delighted to see the Black Panther actor in person. "Oh my God," one woman says in the video. "Wakanda forever!"

At the end of the clip, Jordan explains why it's crucial for black people to participate in the midterm elections, highlighting issues like police brutality. "This midterm election, exercising your right to vote is as important as ever," he says. "I know some of you think that your vote doesn't matter, but you're actually some of the most important voters in the country."

Democrats are betting on the black vote for her win because black people vote for color over character. They don't look at or care about the issues at hand. They feel obligated to vote for her, just like they did for Obama, and are one issue voters.

Have you ever noticed your black coworkers who go out of their way to say hello or start a conversation with another black person just because. As if they are part of some secret society and feel obligated to acknowledge each other. Yesterday MIL received a card urging her to vote in the upcoming election, because, "Your voting record is public and it shows that you voted in 2016." The card doesn't mention who to vote for, but that her vote is important.

This was sent out by Georgia Engaged, a Communist group. My wife and I didn't get one, because we voted R. We're trying to find out if she indeed voted in 2016.

I think this is just because the polls want to show a close tie between the two to help bring out more democrat voters. I believe they are desperate and have Obama and Oprah coming here to help them out. It will be close, which is very sad, but I believe Kemp will win by 4%.

It's close because people are fixated on race and in denial about how many white liberals there are.

The fact that Obama and Oprah are popping up at the last minute suggests (to me) that Abrams may be farther back than anyone realizes. That being said, its only a matter of time before the city votes choke out the rest of the state and Georgia turns blue. I don't see it happening this cycle, but it is an inevitability.

Not really an issue, there were less than 100 ballots in question of all the early voters and I think most of those were mail-ins. The voters were being contacted for verification, no suppression either. Makes for a BS soundbite for Abrams but doesn't amount to much else.

lifelong friend of mine got her absentee ballot application request rejected this spring for a mismatched name.

She signed (an example) TinaWSmith while her voter registration signature said TWSmith.
and she handed the application and ID to the person at the voter registration office and they checked it before accepting it. she got the letter in the mail a few weeks later saying it was rejected.

In 2014 RCP average had Deal up 4.6 points over carter and he wound up winning by 8%. Right now Kemp is only up by 1.1%. Hopefully they're 3.4% wrong again.
