So far the best I've had is Kinder BBQ sauce. I've tried sweet baby rays and blue hog. They are OK. What say the hive?
Any good recipes for a mild BBQ? |

I've been trying to buy random bottles when I find them, I enjoy the search for a new favorite! The last winner I found was D.L. Jardine's Killer sauce. It's slightly hot, has some habanero in there I think. Good stuff.

Sweet baby rays is way too sweet. High fructose corn syrup isn't good for you anyway. |

Well, if you’ve already had Blues Hog, you already had the best.

Sweet baby Ray's is my favorite, but my ulcers don't get along with that, or red sauce, but hot peppers don't bother them.

Depends on the mood, and the meat.
Saucy Susan Stubs Sweet Baby Rays Make your own Blood oranges juiced and mixed into a cup of water with two table spoons of sugar in boiling water. Reduce it down, and mix in some Yoshida teriyaki. Keep reducing until you get it as thick as you like. |

Mrs Griffins or Noble Made is about the best bbq sauce there is provided we’re talking about actual bbq.
If we’re talking grilled beef or chicken or something, it doesn’t really matter but John Boy and Billy’s Grilling Sauce works pretty well on it. |

“Blue Hog was so thick and tasted like Molasses.”
I use blues hog Tennessee Red which is a vinegar based sauce and mix that with the reg blues hog and then it cuts down the molasses flavor. |

Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ Sauce Flavored Corn Syrup is vile. The best commercially available is Buz and Ned's. Great BBQ place in Richmond. Expensive but really good. In between vinegar and tomato based sauces. Tubbs is decent. I usually make my own.

View Quote Came here to post this. It's the sleeper BBQ sauce. Put it on anything and don't tell anyone who makes it. They will love it. |

Stubb's is decent. Actually has some heat/pepper notes too it.
Kinder is sweeter than ketchup. |
