What's the best?
What do you look forward to? My dad wants candy/sweet stuff for Christmas. Stuff from other countries is fine, he really loved the candies my sister brought back from the UK. |

Mom always made a verity of divinity, chewy taffy, and hard saltwater taffy.

My mom always made buckeyes for Christmas. That along with tons of cookies and butter brittle.

He gets those all on his own every year. Quoted: We talking chocolates or more sugary types? Both. We normally get him some kind of toffee and peanut butter cups. Quoted: See’s. I always do a custom box. Mrs. See from the west coast? Someone used to get him the big block of toffee from them. Everything I ever tried from them has been great. |

Aldi should have an assortment of European candies by now. I will be shopping this weekend.

He's not much of a drinker, but I think I might try to make some this year. Quoted: https://www.ar15.com/media/mediaFiles/440308/download__51__jpeg-2171841.JPG WARNING: they are chocolate crack! Looks interesting but they might melt. |

Yes, they do melt very easily but that is part of the magic. Put one on your tongue and it melts in your mouth creating a delicious chocolate symphony. You can buy them online all year but it is best to order them in fall/winter when they have a much better chance of surviving transit unmelted. I order them every year after it turns cold, and so far they have always been intact. It is worth the risk. Words cannot describe how good they are! |

Any decent brand of chocolate covered caramel.
The rest of the chocolate covered candies can go to hell, but if I see a box I'm swiping a caramel. |
|
My traditional Christmas "go to" has always been chocolate covered cherries.

I hate to recommend anything from Hershey's, but their Peppermint Bark Bells are AMAZING.

My grandmother's peanut butter fudge recipe. My wife is the only person other than my grandmother who can seem to get it right.

Who makes a half decent candy cane? More and more of them are skimping on the peppermint and it's just a corn syrup stick
