No, no, please don't do a "leveling kit". The ride height looks perfect now.

They make them like that so when you put actual stuff in the bed, it doesn't drag its ass like a cat on carpet with an itchy butt. ETA: Otherwise, nice truck. |

Trucks come this way from the factory for a reason, with a 1/2 ton like this when you put 600 lbs in the bed or hook up a trailer, the rear leaf springs will squat. With a leveling kit installed, your headlights will be above the horizon, not safe. |

Airbags are they key. 90% of its life will be hauling nothing more than a canoe and camping gear, nothing squat-worthy. I got a half ton for stuff capacity, not towing/heavy shit, otherwise I would have another one ton. |

Please don't fuck it up with a leveling kit . Put a functional off-road suspension on it if you're gonna do anything . Bro dozers are the most embarrassing vehicles on the road . And that includes Mexican/black gangster cars with 24" rims and curb feelers .

I gave it to my dad when I left Alaska, had 320,000 on original 351W and tranny, still starts first turn and runs like a raped ape. Wasn't worth it to me to bring it down south, he uses it for a water truck now. The bronco had a 351 modified, sold it too. |

I don't see a bro-dozer I see a run of the mill F-150. It needs to be a Dodge 3/4 ton that will fall apart in a month so you can brag about how well built it is or it does not count.

What does "not much rust" mean on a 2013 vehicle?
Rust on a 3 year old truck is pretty suspect.. |

Don't do a leveling kit. Chances are the front will end up higher and it will look like dog shit.
Like mine. |

nice looking truck. Instead of going with the totally leveled look get a kit that leaves you about 1/2-1" of rake, it's close enough to look good but still enough rake to allow you to put 2-300lbs in the back before the truck starts to squat a bit.

I have a 2013 with 18" rims and I need tires. I'm trying to make it until fall to get some AT's. |

From what I've read it needs 1" in the front to ride level. Those kits are rare now. 1.5" will put you nose up.

Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile View Quote measure the difference in height from the ground to the top of each wheel well opening and figure out the amount of rake from front to back. Most of the '04-'14 F150s have close to three inches of rake, at least all the ones I've owned did. I went with a 1.5" Auto Spring leveling kit on my old truck and my wife's current truck and they still have a slight amount of rake to allow for hauling some weight in the box. If you end up nose high an add a leaf will fix that. |
