I'm hoping to survive Twilight, Wolverine, and Keystone to make it to Flyover.

I'm older than AJ. I'm suddenly concerned about getting the Grandpa Treatment. My dad would always joke after visiting grandpa that if he (dad) ever got like that (grandpa) to take him out behind the barn and shoot him. And whenever dad had a senior moment he'd look at me and ask if it was 'time'. |

It’ll be fine, everything’s fine. |

Filling my last Tuesday off with spring cleaning and cooking and gardening and seed tending. This is a good, wholesome day.
The impette has discovered the world of paper dolls, and the imp is lego-ing. |

Quoted: Stockdale deserved better than to be remembered for that. I read his writings and got interested in reading Epictetus from them. "This is a very important lesson. View Quote Well, yes, of course. But thanks to the media he's remembered for that and not his brave and brilliant career. Can't imagine what he endured in Vietnam. |

Mayo Clinic went well yesterday.
The doc got a good x-ray and scan of Mrs. Turbo's shoulder. Definitly a torn rotator cuff. Surgery is in 4 weeks, then probably 6 weeks before they are going to let her use that arm for anything. |

Quoted: Quoted: Quoted: Quoted: Came home to a sick daggie tonight. Not sure why, but around 3pm he started throwing up and having diarrhea Chicken and rice for dinner, went to bed early. Wife is saying that he hadn't had anything since breakfast, but his belly was still pretty full and the food seemed barely digested. Hope he feels better soon. My first assumption when that happens is that the dog got something he shouldn't have eaten. Andy threw up 3 times a few days ago, third attempt brought up the foil wrapper of a chocolate coin that one of the kids had probably left on the floor. Aside from not wanting to eat his breakfast, he seemed to be his normal self this morning Wife says he’s been lethargic all day We’re wondering if he may have taken a bite out of the soil I put into the garden boxes. I used 1 bag each garden soil, mushroom compost, and cow manure. |
