I have come to understand my own family does not have a tradition of strong family loyalty. It's not bad really, but I think the family will be stronger and healthier with a firm foundation. I want to encourage a sense of service and selflessness. On my side of the family there is a history of average working class people getting by, and on my wifes side is a history of more wealthy people being a bit more selfish and more focused mainly on conserving wealth. Being frugal is a great quality, but I don't think it should be as important as other things. On a regular basis I demonstrate these things I want to encourage and I try to teach it. Now, I would like try to put into words this idea so I can I can use it as an occasional reminder. So, lets here some suggestions. I'm sure this isn't a new and unique idea.

Quite the toast at family functions. |

By the way, I think what you're trying to do is awesome. Gotta start somewheres and why not with you?

We traced my family back to Great Britain in the early 1600's. My family's motto is "For King and Country". Found out lots of cool stuff.

Is this like one of those weird coat of arms threads, or like that guy that wanted to buy a cheap mass produced sword as a family heirloom type of thread?

Sounds more like you want to produce a line of betas. View Quote I've never heard of anyone doing it, so it may in fact be new and unique. But, I'll give it a shot. How about: - We exist to serve - Your wish is our command - Our money and our lives are at your service |
