I love me 223 bolt gun and I love lever actions. I only have one 300 BLK so I'd likely just stick with 5.56 but never know. 300 is just expensive and I don't know it reloading 300 is even worth it with current reloading supply prices. Luckily all my many other calibers I still even have projectiles from the late 90s or early 2000s. Also stacked that shit deep and cheap!

Finally watched. 1) AR bolt - or at least AR looking bolt. If they're actually using AR bolts, they just made it very easy for all the AR calibers, and a 308 version can't be too far behind. 2) Metal mags not working - but it's an AR bolt, right? Maybe metal mags have to run faster? Lancers have metal feed lips, and he was having better results w/ Lancers than w/ PMags. |

Smooth lever, great trigger, great safety placement and kinda nice overall. The bolt looks like a standard AR bolt complete with can pin. The barrel looks to have an extension similar to an AR. Mag release required moving the hand forward to activate. WA, commie central, allows threaded barrels on non semi autos so I believe it’s a great option for those that missed the boat. It’s 1k less than the POF and comes chambered in rifle cartridges. Hopefully it will flop due to SCOTUS but if they don’t stand up, it may be viable. |

The boat still works good and well in WA… That asides, and even with too many ARs, I still kind want one of these. “Bolt action quiet” action with with lever action “speed” when suppressed. I just want it in 300blk for quiet close range yotes and stuff (which means it’d get SBR’s ). But is still hard to justify it over a basic Ar15 set up in 300blk with 8” barrel and can.Assumption being lever action is quicker/smoother reload than bolt action. |

I only used 10rd body mags outside the house. Still got dirty looks at the ranges dropping them like a "free man". Had an off duty cop threaten me low key that if he were on duty in uniform he'd have arrested me since my AR didn't have a mag lock on it. This was at Duncan's in Vista to get my headspace checked. The cop was picking up his LEO only Gen 4 Glock 17 and standard cap mags... A lever action Henry that takes AR pattern mags is a good idea for our brothers and sisters behind enemy lines. |

I picked one up on the 3rd. Well put it on layaway wasn't planning on seeing one in person and didn't have all the cash. So layaway it was. Was in to pick up a box of 30 carbine to test my new 30 carbine AR build. They asked if there was anything else I needed. I said ya you got one of those new Henry levers? Bought the 300 Blkout for hunting. As Karhn mentioned no semiauto for deer in PA. I already have a 8.5 SBR & can so I'm set for everything just need to go pick it uP after snowmageddon. Was a impulse buy after reading & posting in this thread. I still have 3 other planned purchases for 2025. I' ll see what mags it works with I have mostly USGI surplus and Okay. Only maybe 5 Pmags. I did see there was a poly 5 shot mag when I was leaving I'll be grabbing that for hunting season so I don't have to block the factory mag. One thing I can say is handling it at the counter it is butter smooth. Both my OG Marlin 336c guns still feel like they are loaded with sand after hundreds of rounds. They need action work to smooth them out. NIB Henry was just smooth start to finish. |

The made mostly stuff to rebuild parts kits to working semi guns. Remil made the upper I picked it up 2nd hand. Been after one of the Oly guns for years this is much better no silly steel block welded to the mag. Just a small mod to the carbine mag it's self. Just shot it 100% reliable both mags.
