I'm sure gd had a bunch of threads on her so no need to rehash her story.
Watch: Marine Biologist Nearly Dives Right Into The Mouth Of A Shark I had completely forgotten about her and recently googled to see if she's still uneaten. I'm actually a little surprised she hasn't pulled a Grizzly Man. That guy was completely bonkers but she's not far behind. Feel she's pushing it and on borrowed time. Just one slip or lapse of judgment. I don't care how long you've been buds with the adult great white. OR... Is she pulling a Jane Goodall (chimpanzee lady)? Shockingly not ragdolled by a Silverback and still alive today at 89. Also if need more research. https://www.instagram.com/oceanramsey/ |

Couldn't blame a shark for eating her. If I got the chance, I'd take a bite or two.

She's no marine biologist, not even a scientist as far as I can determine. NBC calls her a "famous shark scientist". Wikipedia says, "Ocean Ramsey is a freediver and model. She operates One Ocean Diving, LLC in Hawaii, a company which facilitates dives with marine life.".
Instagram money opportunity meets the ocean and out popped "Ocean" Ramsey. Good God. This is the source of knowledge the public is directed to. |

She's going to end up like that grizzly bear guy and his girlfriend

Eventually Darwin will catch up with her and hopefully it will be video taped, as a warning that Darwin waits for no one.

She’s probably okay if she stays away from Bull sharks. Sharks don’t seem terribly interested in humans unless you fuck with them or they get confused.
Sooner of later she’ll probably get bit. |

This is a 'thing' swimming with these big tigers. They call it 'redirecting' . Guy I follow on IG is a pro surfer but he does it in Australia when he's not surfing. These sharks are so chill, just gliding with no tail kick. If they kick that big tail, your legs are going in that mouth when your momentum is put in reverse. I don't want to see it.

There has to be some good shark week jokes for her out there...

She could just sell pictures of her butthole, make a lot more money, and not get eaten by a shark. Instathot going to instathot.

Hopefully she isn’t using Steve Irwin sunscreen out there.
It’s doesn’t protect against harmful rays! |

This sounds profoundly ditzy. Let's forget that she's talking sharks. She could be talking about bowling balls, and my first thought is that she was only able to achieve her dream job of sanitizing rental shoes because of her ability to, well ... I'll leave it to you to finish the sentence.
“I know some people criticize touch but what some don’t realize is that sometimes sharks seek touch,” Ramsey added in the post. “I wish more people would have a connection with sharks and the natural world, because then they would understand that it’s not petting sharks or pushing them off to maintain a respectable space that is hurting sharks (because trust me if she didn’t like being pet she can handle and communicate).” View Quote |

Didn’t Treadwell manage to fuck with Grizzlies for over 10 years before his luck ran out?

Quoted: Bachelors in Marine Biology and Masters in Ethology. I'd say that makes her a marine biologist. View Quote Nothing listed beyond HS in any bio I have read about her. Maybe you are correct but maybe not, remember you can call yourself a marine biologist like George Constanza but it does not make it true. Damn good looking woman but thinking a 16' Tiger is your pal shows you have lost perspective and you have entered the danger zone. She died doing what she loved could be a thread title here one day. |

She's nuts.
Wood pile on with her and the crazy airplane marketing chick. The missing kidneys in the morning would be worth it. |

Shes actually a pretty cool gal. She was my dive instructor who certified me when I lived on Oahu.

Alex, for $200, I'll take, almost apex predators (see orca), she simply convinces sharks she is just a big remora there to help. The shark, except a bull sark, they'll just bite you for the fun of it, just agrees with their pea sized brain that is there to eat, and eat is what is is designed for.

I had to look up her Master's subject. noun The scientific study of animal behavior, especially as it occurs in a natural environment. OK, she has a graduate degree in Jane Goodallism. What she's doing seems to fit. |
