Honk Honk
Attached File Glad they are doing the important work needed to get this country back on track https://thehill.com/homenews/house/598757-house-passes-crown-act-banning-race-based-hair-discrimination Does this mean white women won't get turned away at black hair salons? |

So can I still resell the weaves I find at Chuck E cheese or not?
Does this mean rappers can't talk about "Chicken heads" no more?

Glad to see Congress is tackling the tough, important matters.

Enjoy the decline mf’ers!! One step closer to hunger games. Honk honk |

the boomer I work with was outraged over this...I'm sitting here like who gives a fuck?

Eventually you will just have to hire everyone that applies or you're a racist.
And this is why it's so hard to tell onion articles apart from reality at this point
At this point, every bill that passes out of Congress needs to be reviewed by a panel of federal judges to determine whether it is constitutional.
There is nothing in the Constitution remotely allowing this. |
I'm not sure what this means, but I am going to continue to discriminate against hair I don't like.
1) Grow an outrageous Mohawk.
2) Dye your Mohawk hot pink. 3) Apply for job you come nowhere close to qualifying for: brain surgeon, rocket scientist, etc. 4) Fail to get the job. 5) Sue for discrimination against your hair. 6) Profit |

I'll sleep better knowing our border is secur--- ah shit. nm.

All hair styles are constitutionally correct….it’s right in the Constitution.

“..for Natural Hair”
So does that mean I can continue to discriminate against people with fake hair? Seriously, in what kind of situation is your hair the deciding factor? |
While this is hardly a priority right now I do agree with it. Many schools have had dress code policy that is discriminatory against black people because they have different hair and different hairstyles are easier for the to manage and maintain.
Imagine a kid being told you can't wear rows or something and having to have a hairstyle you don't like. How would white kids feel if they were told theyust have bowl cuts or something? Shits fucked up. Still not a priority but I do agree with it |
Finally. The important stuff in this country is getting handled.

Shelia Jackson Lee can’t be dissed for her Triple Crown Weave…
J. Harvey Christ… sure glad they are taking time to address the serious issues in the country. 8654 |

I am soooo glad they're addressing the really important issues instead of irrelevant nonsense

I seriously doubt there's anyone here that has shared a bed with a black woman.
The bullshit they deal with is definitely worth addressing. The very nature of their hair means that typically white styles aren't feasible without literally burning their scalp with chemicals, or spending ridiculous money to have poor Indian people's hair woven onto their heads. My ex got her masters, started a job, and was dragged into her boss' office to talk about her hair. Nothing crazy like a fro, and was professional looking twists with a similar profile to an up-do of straight hair, but her boss tried to demand that she straightened her hair to make it less "ethnic". HR put her in her fucking place real quick. If you haven't at the very least seen Chris Rock's documentary 'Good Hair', your opinion here is invalid. |
I been waiting for this to pass.. Its about time... Good job to our wonderful govt!

This is what the US House is worried about? LOLOL Where there is SOOOOOOOOOOO much else going on in the world.....hair is a thing. LMFAO.
Kind of like making lynching illegal the other week. You leftists really have to crawl back into the real world. |
So...Black folks are "criminalized" for their hair styles? because that's exactly what they said.
Show us an example of someone who was arrested for having a hair style. Show us the people who were thrown out of a movie theatre, restaurant, park, DMV, whatever, for hair discrimination. Politicians. When you are so inept and lazy to tackle any real problems, you grasp at fantasy and have to make shit up to look busy. |

When's the legislation to protect cultures that don't promote criminality?

It has been my observation that any person, of any gender, of any race, that has a "crown row" hairstyle is generally not worth a squirt of piss. |
So when an individual walks into corner barber shop with a 70 year old man that has never done cornrows and demands them, what happens?
You're a racist because you won't do it. You're a racist because you fucked up my head. IDK where this is supposed to take us as a nation or society. |
