This is why I despise the NFA so much. I would spend hundreds of dollars building guns like this, if only I didn't have to go through the punishment of the NFA process. Sheriff has had my form 4 for 2 weeks now. Are you allowed to use an NFA trust in Texas? If so, then it is crazy not to use one. Using a trust cuts out all of the real PITA stuff like CLEO signatures, photos, and fingerprints and leaves you with just two forms to fill out, a check to write, and a few weeks to wait. |

Now that they're legal in Washington, I've got to get me a suppressor.
|
|
Nice. I've wanted one for a while but with a folding stock. I'll have to buy another 10/22 to do it, though 'cause the wife won't let me change the one we have. A tiny, suppressed 10/22 would be one of the most fun toys I can think of. |

Too bad some of us HAD to. |

About $300, give or take but you should do lots of research before you buy a can so you can get exactly what you want. Spend some time in the Suppressor forum under the Armory tab here and do some reading on silencertalk.com, silencerresearch.com (might want to buy a membership there), and silencerforum.com. A .22lr can is really a joy to shoot. |

I see what you did there. The beer on the far end is Yuengling. It's not too distant a cousin to Newcastle. |

OK, now that this thread has got me all excited about a 10/22 I need some advice.
I have a .22 Sparrow that I will be picking up next week so I want to get a 10/22 with a threaded/larger diameter barrel for that. I am trying to decide if it makes more sense to get a plain ol' 10/22 carbine and add a Tactical solutions threaded/fluted barrel, Hogue or Boyds stock, bi-pod etc. Or should I just get the “tactical” model and send the barrel to ADCO and have it threaded and be done with it. It looks like the total cost for either would be pretty close to the same. Thoughts? Ruger 10/22 Tactical: http://www.ruger.com/products/1022Tactical/models.html |

Wow- it's amazing, really, just how nice a pure, clean original looks- ––- |

Love my 10/22 but I need to say I don't hate but have negative feelings toward the lucky bastards who can have a suppressor. Envy running deep. Anybody know what it would take to have a legal suppressed 10/22 in Missouri?
Thanks OP for a great thread. |

I'm not complaining but if you want 10/22 pics we have a huge thread mostly of them in the .22 section. Btw I made 450 10/22 barrels last night.
