People are assholes.
We planned James birthday party for this Saturday based upon the mom of the one kid he wanted to come saying they were available. They confirmed 3 weeks ago they were coming. Today they texted that they've decided to stay an extra day on vacation instead. Maybe this will be a life lesson for James not to trust friends |

We design for 18* but that is not to code. Code is no more than 15* Don’t you mean 20* off of return air? Not once you get outside of design conditions. What does that mean? |

Lots of wind and hail this evening. I thought I was going to get to use my generator. No luck.

Got some adjustments to make to the LED bulbs. Looks like some rotation is needed.

Not once you get outside of design conditions. What does that mean? I design a system to be able to keep 75* and 50% RH on a 93* day. Once it goes over 95, the system cannot maintain and you will be getting hotter than 75 inside. |

Sleep schedule is still fucked. Sitting here, finished today's crossword, imbibing my caffeine of choice trying to get up the gumption to go to the garage and dive into injector seals. Also going to pull the supercharger and change the nose oil, followed by cleaning out the charge air piping and intercooler.

Quoted: @ SD what more “exotic” pets would you be interested in? View Quote The thing I’m pretty much over (at least until I have a lot more money and/or time) are things that require constant environmental management. I loved my aquariums, but worrying about water chemistry and oxygenation and flow and algae and beneficial bacteria and lighting and all the equipment that came along with it was time consuming, expensive, and exhausting. They’re pretty, but at this point in my life and finances, I don’t need a high maintenance girlfriend. Same goes for any other creature requiring intense environmental management. |

Ever since becoming a maintenance manager it's been a crazy ride. I recently set a company milestone in DEI by finally hiring a female maintenance tech. Everything was going great for a while but one day I found her smoking pot behind the shop and I had to fire her.

There are industry standards on design conditions and software that calculates the heat loss. Hell, I learned how to do it, and haven’t had to give anyone their money back, so it can’t be too difficult, right? |
