I'm a retread, lost my password and started over.
But I do have a page I printed out from back then. What a great ride ! |

I just don't get the all the symbolism and badges , I guess it makes some feel better.

Less the ones who have been banned, there should be 634 of us.
Here's the last member who signed up on the current board in Dec 2000. https://www.ar15.com/member/user.html?id=634 And the first one in Jan 2001. https://www.ar15.com/member/user.html?id=635 I'll let someone else figure out how many are still active. Paging @subnet to run some queries... |

Last time a topic posted up about the 20 year icon, I checked folk's user ID and there was someone with 550ish join number that had the 20 and a low 700 guy that was a Jan 01 guy, so no 20 for him. So somewhere between 550 and 700 would be my best guess.

Some came on in December, some in January. The December people get it early.

The ones that have it now were the ones that got lured away by the bright shiny new thing. We early ‘01s were the ones that had loyalty to the old board and the old ways! We were the stalwarts that only switched over because we were forced to! Bah! I joined up somewhere during ‘99 with a different username View Quote |

Well Dang! I'll have to do the math, but it looks like my 0.17 posts per day won't be catching your 0.23 anytime soon. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes |

Same. I kept the same username, just waited a bit before transitioning over. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

.
I was on the pre-2001 site for a few days before getting kicked off for having a free email address. When I asked why some guy named Juan told me they simply didn't make exceptions for any reason. I was active duty in mil quarters at the time and while we had net access we didn't have email accounts ( "just sign up for netscape or yahoo") and .mil accounts weren't yet service-wide. So I lurked and didn't post. The next time I signed up was a couple of years later (with a "real" email account) and I lost that account during the changeover. I wasn't very active with that one. This account I got during Katrina to get Team membership to better follow that event. This one I stayed active with. . |

I wasn't on the old site, wasn't much into personal firearms after my apartment got robbed in FL (still wonder if my .40 S&W will find its way back to me). Now that I don't have access to any unless I purchase...things changed a bit.. A few google searches and I signed up for ARFCOM and promptly found my tinfoil hat that said I am now listed on the ATF watch list. I doubt I will live long enough to see the 20 year badge of courage.... View Quote I'd like my 19 yr badge in March then even though I was here a couple years earlier under a different handle Hope I make it to 20 yr mark |

Counting down the years. I've already starting purchasing the party supplies.
