 Actually regardless of state law I do have my guns locked up because of my little kids. When I lived alone in the days of yore I had 7.7 Arisaka-10 years couple years in there I had a borrowed Mossberg 500 with either slugs or 4 shot not sure how long on the rest Borrowed Colt Python 870 w/turkey shot edit 3 1/2" for fuck's sake - Beretta 92 same 870 - Hk 91 Glock 21 bushmaster post ban ar15 Glock 36 - Colt preban mutt gun Glock 19 |

My daughter began cleaning guns with me when she was 3, started shooting at 5. With my youngest, he has zero interest. Regardless, the only thing loaded is on me or requires a key. |

I have kids, so zero are out. My big safe is on one side of the house and I have a handgun safe next to my bed. If I need more time than it takes to get into either one of those, I am fucked. But, I also don't live in fear of my kids getting a hold of a gun and killing themselves. That is not something I could live with.
