It'll be 10 in February.
2013 Ram 1500 bought new that year with 8 miles on it. No plans to replace it, which is good because to do so would cost almost 60% more than I paid for it. My uncle had a 2002 Ram with the 4.7 just like the one OP has-same color, same cab. He traded it in 4 years ago with right around 400,000 miles on it. |

98 Ram 1500 Quadcab bought new Halloween 1997, 2004 F150 Lariot that belonged to my son. Do the math. I'll drive these until I'm dead as both are still very low mileage for their age and I drive maybe 4k a year between the 2 of them.

2005 LLY Duramax, just hit 714,000 miles original engine and Allison trans, save for a few waterpumps and front hubs... not driving much lately. 2005 Tacoma... totalled at 40k (local Sheriff did it running a light) Bunch of cars too, kinda proud to say I've logged over 2 million miles before age 50 and NOT a trucker ?? |

Quoted: I just realized my truck is 20 years old being a 2002. Im the 2nd owner. Dodge Ram crew cab 4x4. No active fuel management. No fancy gizmos. Just a V8 with 5 speed tranny and throttle body. Dependable and gets the job done. https://cdn.imagearchive.com/okshooters/data/attach/256/256211-20220730-093039.jpg View Quote Damn nice looking truck. I had an 01 like it. Small V-8 with a 5-speed and an extended cab without the opening doors. I put 140K on it after buying it used with 28K on it in 2004. The guy wanted out from the payment and let me have it for the payoff. We were both happy with that deal. I had close to 160K on it when the rear end went out. I sold it when it needed more front-end work done than it was worth. By then the dash had more or less disintegrated. A damn fine truck. It was replaced by a 2013 GMC SEL extended cab. With 150K on it now, it's been a pretty good ride. (hope I didn't just jinks it.) |

My daily driver is a 2002 with 380,000 miles.
My backup is a 1999 with 220,000 miles. And there's a 72' in the garage with 79,000 miles. |

21 years old. Let out a big blue cloud of smoke when I started it earlier. Lol

94 F150 5.0...can't kill it... drove it on 2x 2000 mile roadtrips last year, no worries. The wiper motor died last month after 28 years.

2008 1/2 ton Chevy Silverado 4x4 Ext cab. 227,000+ on the OD. A solid runner.
2005 manual transmission Ranger regular cab with a replaced engine. 89k miles on the odometer. The body is beat to shit but it runs great, the black paint looks "antique".
I love that little truck. |
21 years old. 2001 Dodge Ram ORE. 183k on the original drivetrain.
Four year old Tacoma. My previous truck was also a Tacoma that I owned for 15 years.

Despite many trucks newer, my current pickup is an 86 Ford since 2020. Having a beater with three pedals has it's advantages, plus I can fix almost anything with a set of craftsman tools.
8 yrs old, previous owner beat on it a bit. not had very long. paid to much, but market sucks right now and unless I wanted older truck,or to pay a lot more its what I was able to get.

1980- K5 Blazer 42 yrs
1993- Chevy 1500 29 yrs 1998- Tacoma 24 yrs 2010- Tundra 12 yrs Take care of your shit and it will last you |

Oldest truck currently on the road is a ‘71 Chevy K10 and the newest is an ‘05 Ford Superduty with a 6.0 that I ordered new. In between those are a variety of Chevy’s and Ford’s.
Next truck will be a 2025 of an undecided make… |
2003 Sierra. near 200K. Mechanically great. Has the GM body lightening option though. May just try to find a rust free cab and bed for it instead of replacing it.
Mine is an 05 Ford with a 6.0. Really wish I would have taken better care of it especially the paint. Would love a new truck but the money is bonkers.
30 years old and it's got the least miles of anything we own by a looooong shot.
My daily will soon be a 67 Chevy C20, and I'm looking forward to it. I'm tired of stupid electrical issues, sensors, ect. I prefer simple and reliable. Not to mention, new vehicles mostly look like complete shit nowadays.
