I miss steinhab and pre-2016 Sylvan. From the primaries onward he wasn't the same sort of poster.
dport and Lwilde were cool to have around. I would say I miss paris-dakar most of all. Great poster. Not sure why he stopped coming around. I seriously doubt that he was banned. Fatbert was decent, too. Not sure if he was banned or stopped posting. |

Despite the fact that Sylvan is mostly irrational about the USMC (professional jealousy being what it is and all, and he admitted to it several years ago), I love having him around. A well read and very educated field grade officer, even if a bit abrasive. I don't think he's gone because he's banned, but he's staying away out of frustration just like R0N.
dport, Sylvan, R0N, and a couple of others that are still here contributed significantly to this forum even if I didn't always agree with whatever they posted. Reading the war-college level debate they engaged in during the Obama years was refreshing. Steinab contributed his over-inflated ego and nothing else. Nothing. Less than nothing, in fact. Some of his posts used to make me fucking cringe (insert the universal hand and arm signal for masturbation here). Good riddance. |

I didn’t rewalize so many long time members have been banned. I just saw a thread that said Cobra AK was banned too. I guessed Bradders was banned after not seeing his posts anymore but I’m sure I missed other long time members who got banned

Sylvan, by his own admission, was too fucking lazy to vote in the recent primaries in KS, where the MAGA candidate for governor, just barely won the nomination (by about 200 votes) but would have the gall to show up in political threads and run his mouth about stuff he clearly only had a simpleton's understanding of.
