You can only buy one box at a time here. I tried to buy 2 last time so I didn’t have to deal with the bullshit for a while. You also go into the database to make sure you’re not buying a box at multiple pharmacies. Fucking tweakers. Do cocaine like an adult. View Quote |

Yeah you’re on a list for buying 2. Is that like the FBI secret list where they can deny a NICS check and not tell you why?? View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

I have bad allergies and needed Claritin D. Never had an issue until I moved to SC. Only allowed to buy 15 doses a month.
I guess I was only allowed to breath every other day. I had to get a perscription and do the 90 day supply. Or be a felon and have my wife buy 15 and the I would buy 15. Fuck meth |

Before this policy was enacted, I once was in a check out line behind a smurf buying all the Sudafed the grocery store had in stock. The entire conveyor belt was covered with Sudafed boxes.

Been that way for years now. Thank the druggies for locked up Sudafed behind the pharmacist counter and watered down Nyquil.

Can you buy a box of sudafed and one of actifed at the same time?
|
|
Remembering the good old days you could buy a bottle with 100 pills, instead of just a blister pack.
I also remember my cvs getting hit 1992 or so and someone dragged their arm across the shelf scooping as much as they could at one time. |
|
Ok, so first you need to go watch Breaking Bad. Clearly you did not, and that's just a shame.

I was picking up a bottle of Knob Creek in a liquor store the other day and this surburban housewife in front of me is buying six 1.75Lof the cheapest rotgut vodka in the store. She then offers an unsolicited explanation that she is making some kind of disinfecting spray, and this is cheaper than denatured alcohol, and besides she doesn’t have to fill out the paperwork for buying that much denatured alcohol, and like she would make meth anyway ha ha ha...
And hell, I didn’t know you needed paperwork to buy a lot of denatured alcohol or that it was used in meth manufacture. |

Worthless laws of worthlessness
When you count people just getting scripts on scripts for stuff like Adderall the meth/amphetamine use has stayed equal When you consider that everyone unable to get on scripts just went fully down the rabbit hole to heroin what was the point Just another government knows better on prohibition pile of nonsense |

Sudafed is apparently one of the ingredients that goes into meth, so they have this BS where you have to show ID and sign something now. (I assume your name then goes on "a list".) My wife uses it seasonally, but so far she hasn't bought enough for some alphabet agency to kick in my door and shoot my lazy dog.

Some dumb shit from 20 years ago. Funny part was the meth cooks bought that shit from Sum Ting Wong's Liquor and Mini-Mart in the hood,by the case, not at Walmart.
Now meth labs are an endangered species and the useless restrictions are still here. |

You can thank the "got to get them dopers!" crowd here. They would rather millions be inconvenienced and millions of cancer sufferers and people with other conditions be in extreme pain than a doper get their fix. You can also thank them the next time you're robbed for a junkie to get their fix as the drug war is what makes the cost of that fix so expensive. It's worth it though, we will win this war any day now. View Quote |

Where have you been? It was an effort to make everyone import their meth from Mexico, it worked.

Quite a while. Really helped, no one uses meth dang near anymore View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes The harsh drug laws all but killed off meth use O wait thats not true and the prohibitionists were wrong again Having more shitty meth actually cost less lives than allowing a full bore high quality meth ring to operate that also costs lives outside of the drug at a higher level But meth, it turns out, was only on hiatus. When the ingredients became difficult to come by in the United States, Mexican drug cartels stepped in. Now fighting meth often means seizing large quantities of ready-made product in highway stops. The cartels have inundated the market with so much pure, low-cost meth that dealers have more of it than they know what to do with. Under pressure from traffickers to unload large quantities, law enforcement officials say, dealers are even offering meth to customers on credit. In Portland, the drug has made inroads in black neighborhoods, something experienced narcotics investigators say was unheard-of five years ago. “I have been involved with meth for the last 25 years. A wholesale plummet of price per pound, combined with a huge increase of purity, tells me they have perfected the production or manufacturing of methamphetamine,” said Steven Bell, a spokesman for the Drug Enforcement Administration. “They have figured out the chemical reactions to get the best bang for their bucks.” Nearly 100 percent pure and about $5 a hit, the new meth is all the more difficult for users to resist. “We’re seeing a lot of longtime addicts who used crack cocaine switch to meth,” said Branden Combs, a Portland officer assigned to the street crimes unit. “You ask them about it, and they’ll say: ‘Hey, it’s half the price, and it’s good quality.’” Nationally, nearly 6,000 people died from stimulant use — mostly meth — in 2015, a 255 percent increase from 2005, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The percentage of the nation’s drug overdose toll that was attributed to stimulants inched up to 11 percent of the deaths. |
