There’s an aux tank on the aftermarket, adds another 24gal (I think) under there, requires some exhaust work. But it’s a transfer tank, have to run a pump to fill the main from there. I’d love to see a larger single tank offered. A friend of mine is upgrading his Shelby Super Baja tank to a 54 gal for our Arctic trip next year, so he’s gonna be scaring 1000 mile range. I’m gonna have to rock 4 Jerry cans to be comfortable. Theoretically all good point to point without extra fuel, but all it takes is a station to be out of gas, or find out that a river ferry is out of service and you have to backtrack or something. |

Daughter just took it up to the Boundary Waters for a couple weeks, so I won’t be able to look under the dash til she gets back. |

OP....I'm glad you dealt with the caster in the front for some better steering feeling/control without too much trouble. For anyone else reading this thread.......my local Cosco in Nampa Idaho had a Grenadier displayed inside w/ a pricetag right around $81K. They didn't have the color I wanted so I passed on it. . |

Ha! Just found this thread. I got mine about the same time as OP. Dealer called me because we'd bought a Bronco for my daughter off them a few months prior and he new I was interested in them. They had a sale going on. 10% off all vehicles, an additional $2000 off if you're a Costco member, guaranteed 3.9% APR, free rock sliders and Fox steering stabilizer, and he said he'd give me a great trade-in value for my GX470. KBB said my GX was worth $7000, he offered $10,000, I asked $12,000 and got it. Walked away with a brand new Fieldmaster. I had them add the 3M film to the front to protect against rock chips, a spray-on undercoat to protect from Minnesota salt, and the step plates on the front fenders. This thing is a shitload of fun. I've got a bunch of accessories from GrenadierUSA being delivered tomorrow for some interior improvements. Then I plan on installing a Diabolical slide out drawer system in the rear that'll level up the back to the rear seats when they're folded down so I can use it as a sleep platform.  Couldn't resist. Had to do the colorfill. I hate it on guns but liked it on this.   I was actually in London yesterday so I made the pilgrimage to the pub where the whole concept was dreamt up.  They had a few Grenadiers parked out front but they're the weird right-hand drive jobbies.  Just down the alley way was parked the original inspiration for the whole concept. Very cool.

| They're laser cut vinyl stickers sold on Etsy. I just cleaned out the letter detents carefully and thoroughly before adhering the stickers. It was a few days before they got wet. They went through a couple of hard rains then a drive through car wash. I've seen no hint of them lifting. The stickers come in a number of different color options. I went with red but, honestly, it's kind of an orangy-red. Still looks good in person though. |

Nice ride OP, but I’m far more interested in hearing about this trip. You say the Arctic. Do you mean the Arctic Ocean up to Prudhoe Bay, Tuktoyaktuk, etc? We need details lol I’m currently trying like hell to put everything into place for a 2027 run to Deadhorse. I was hoping to roll over enough PTO from this year to make it plausible for 26’, but that’s just not going to happen. |

I'm late to this, but when I saw how they're doing the cluster on that tablet display, that's a big nope from me. I don't want critical displays on that, which is a patently retarded thing that Tesla does. No idea why we're moving to that. Not a fan of digital clusters either, but a separate digital cluster is much more reasonable than one big combined unit that provides a huge number of failure points and usually makes handling simpler tasks so much harder. |

We’re driving from Whitefish, MT to Juneau with a group as part of an event, then a couple friends and I are taking a couple vehicles to go to Tuk, see if we can’t stand in the ocean. We’ve got a history of doing car adventures, so when someone gets a wild idea, the other two are enablers. LOL I hear you on the PTO. We considered Prudhoe, but dang that trip eats up time. Tuk ends up being a bit more attainable for a drive home to MN, but we’re still gonna be laying down some long days to make it happen. I’m excited that I’ve discovered this sub forum, I’ve usually stuck to GD, but threads there go to archive so damn quick. |

I don’t disagree with your sentiment. I like buttons, and dislike having to focus my attention on a screen and touchpad controls while driving. Fortunately, it has a lot of buttons. Unfortunately, it still has a good amount of touchscreen only functions, and the screen generally interacting with the buttons. |

Going to look at the nearest dealer this weekend. Don't plan to drive one home, but maybe.... It's been on my radar since they were announced and I think I've ready every review and watched every YouTube video available. I still trust ARFCOM brethren the most, haha. Open to more opinions and updates from owners. |

| I'm enjoying mine more and more every day. But it's a huge improvement over my GX470. I mean, as much as I loved my GX, it was a 16 year old vehicle. My 2 main complaints about the Grenadier is the turn radius and the gear shifter. Not a fan of the push-button park. It also kinda bugs me that I can't shift from neutral to drive without depressing the brake. Makes coming out of the automated car wash just slightly more irritating than it oughta be. Other than these few nit-picky things, this vehicle kicks ass. I've decided I need a new truck gun for it. Given it's pedigree, I'm thinking an MP5-k would be cool. Just gotta get it and the slide out drawer system for the trunk to keep it in. |

Good stuff, thanks gents! RE: the brake press to drive issues.... Yep, I've got that on my daily and it is aggravating in a car wash. First world problems for sure, haha. Will definitely plan on adjusting stops to get a better turning radius. ETA: Get an mp5k, can't go wrong there.

First day on the trails with it yesterday. Gotta say, It’s a beast. I did not even take it out of daily driver mode, and it just ate everything up, effortlessly. Actually, that’s not quite true, I did put it in “off-road mode” a couple times to see what that did. It apparently turns the stability control off or down for spinning tires in mud, etc. |
Been hitting the GrenadierUSA site for some personal improvements.  I love the new transfer case shifter knob but I can't read it without looking close at it, not that it should matter. It's pretty instinctive what each position is. Nonetheless, I wanted it clearly marked. So I color-filled it with a Sharpie extra-fine point paint pen. I like it.  My favorite mod might actually be the cargo compartment side rails. Don't have a pic of them at the moment but they sure are handy for keeping stuff from sliding around. |

Looks potentially handy. I just put a Bulletpoint Rubigrid mounting system on mine. I had a little vent mount for my phone, but wanted a way to hold an iPad and radio as well. Day to day will be just the phone, but for trips I’ll put the radio and iPad on. Sun glare on the center display really annoys me, makes it difficult to see, so I’m definitely going to be doing one of those screen visors I’ve seen. Attached File Attached File |

'21 M5 should be in my garage early next week....I bumped my budget after more research, lol. Got this about 3 weeks ago now. Did the GP Factor bumper/winch kit right away, as well as a tire swap. Got it buttoned up then off to PPF and ceramic the next morning. Have a few more updates but no more recent pics other than the below.... I went with the 1924 edition. Fell in love with the darker interior/headliner and green trim. On the showroom floor. Attached File My work supervisors....my boy has never liked to look at the camera, haha. Nice! Very exciting, both the Grenny and the M5! I want a hidden winch, and the GP setup looks slick as heck. Still researching my options. I just heard something today that makes me think the Trialmaster bumper might be “winch ready” for the factory offering (unverified, haven’t had a chance to examine). If true, I might be able to find a compact enough option to fit back there. Probably wishful thinking, but might give me an opportunity to get creative, which is always fun. |
Thought I'd post this. I mentioned it earlier that the truck goes a long ways before the fuel gauge comes off "full". I reset my odometer at my last fuel stop. I've since traveled 50.7 miles and the tank is still showing full with the remaining range maxed out at >260mi.  Eta: 5 miles later, it finally shows 251 mi remaining but the gauge is still pegged on full. But it's already gone 55.6mi and that's all stop-and-go city driving with lots of idling. I sat idling in front of my kid's school yesterday for at least 35 minutes. Did the same this morning for 25 minutes. I swear, they need to somehow recalibrate what an actual Full tank is on the gauge.

Just got done doing the turn radius adjustment. Finding the thick 7/16" SAE washers was no easy feat. Had to order them through Fastenal. Came the next day. But, holy shit, what an improvement! Made some other mods too. Had a 7 hour road trip with my daughter and she wanted cup holders for the back seat. So I made a custom center console with cup holders, a storage cubby, and additional electrical plugs including an AC inverter plugged into the cargo area cigarette lighter. It buckles in with the center seat belt. It's nothing to brag about as my skills in wood working are limited, but it does the job well and the stain of the polished top compliments the brown leather of the car fairly well.  Also cut notchs in my overhead storage so I could string the bungee cord up higher, keeping things in place better. Need to touch up the bare aluminum with some gray paint to make it look perfect.  Also made a jack foot. This is something I did for my GX470 that I really liked. I'm not a fan of hoping the jack stays put on an icy shoulder or not sinking in to soft soil on the side of a road. So I made a foot for the jack that'll allow it to rise above such issues better. I routed out the shape of the jack into the board to keep it steady better. Made a place for my security lug key to be stored. I keep it in the back storage area next to the jack with a pair of gloves and a flood lamp, ready to go in a hurry if I get a flat.   I find I'm enjoying this car more and more every day. |
