None were ever lost as a result of hull or rig failure. Sure, fire, grounding, collision, all took their toll, but none failed like older wooden ones occasionally did. |

There is a historical marker there. I also got to meet The Crickets several times. They used to play at a small bar and grill called Chelsea's in the South Plains Mall. Great guys. |
