any era
any ONE plane (fighter/interceptor/combat, not the NASA weather jet, ok?) your choice is? I SAID "ONE" |

F-86E Sabre, Korean War.
That's one of the coolest looking jets, ever. |

There is SO much moar to being a pilot! So much more that I'm glad I didn't go that route!

1960s flying the F-106 Delta Dart. Back when being a jet pilot and flying with rockets was cool.

My blood pressure is so low that feel like I’m going to pass out every time I stand up to fast… So maybe until I put it into a punishing 1.5G turn. Then I’d fucking die.
But if I could? Corsair. |

F-15 Eagle. Just because it is still one bad bird even after all these years.

I wouldn't be. Distinguished flying crosses do not compensate for losses.

Always loved German warplanes so probably a Bf109 dogfighting and shooting down Yaks over the Eastern front. Shit... actually that's too cold so a maybe a P40 shooting down zeros over the Pacific theatre would be better.

When I was 9, my friend's father let me sit in the cockpit of his P-38 while it was being worked on in the hangar.
I've been dreaming about flying one ever since. |

Gf was a Viper pilot. Speaks pretty highly of it.
Nothing to obstruct your view. No nose, can’t really see the wings. Just an extension of your conscience. Wherever you want to go you go. I’d have passed out at 5Gs |

Aeronca champ, hand dropping bombs out the window sinking German U boats off the coast of Florida with civil air patrol.
Then banging girls on the beach between flights. |

View Quote My late uncle worked his entire adult life for Vought and helped design that airplane. It hauled the mail. Not supersonic, but quite the load. |

F-22.
For the engines and flight control system. Watching one of them do a demo is like nothing I've ever seen. First time I saw one in flight it was doing a minimum radius turn at 200 feet above my head. |

B-58 Hustler.
Handled like an F-102. Nothing faster. Brings the crowd pleaser. |
