I would be a very broke man, I just wouldn't know where to start, so many choices so little moneys....

M16 for starters. Then I could buy different uppers, and have everything from a .22 range toy to a sub-gun/PDW to a LMG covered in fairly short order...

I would be making templates for drilling the appropriate holes and kits to make the semi auto ARs FA to sell to you fools.

That would make a lot of money!

Well, I'd still have to deal with Californian law.  The only NFA toys we can get without any sort of special, extremely-hard-to-get permit are short barreled rifles and shotguns 50 years old or older (provided they don't run afoul of our assault weapons ban) and destructive devices of the projectile launching variety which are no more than .60-calibre (again, so long as they do not run afoul of the assault weapons ban, which is much less likely in this category but possible).

If I had the money, of course a short-barreled shotgun or two (maybe more), maybe one of those German 7.92 Kurz self-loading carbines that don't run afoul of our assault weapons ban (currently considered SBRs), and maybe a revolver-carbine of some sort (revolving handgun with a detachable buttstock).  I would also get a Boys Anti-Tank Rifle with the .50-cal conversion kit, but that would only be used out of state (the .50-cal portion).  A shotgun pistol or one of those Remington 870 based under-barrel shotguns that can also be used as a shotgun pistol would be cool as well (although it would require the conversion of a 50-year-old plus shotgun).  Not much more I could get than that that I would otherwise want.  Now, if I were able to get the necessary permits, well, that would be a whole 'nother story.

Personally, even if I could own a full auto I doubt I would spend the money for it.  They were fun to shoot when I wasn't the one who had to pay to feed them.

no interest in FA, unless maybe 22LR as a range toy... it just doesn't do much for me.

If I could simply give them my credit card # and have a supressor shipped to my house at a moment's notice that'd be pretty cool, however.

Apparently you've never shot a machinegun...

Shot several (AK47, M16, Ingram).  After about 1 mag worth of "neat!" I was over it.  I much prefer semi auto.

F/A parts for my AR would be nice, but I'd be more interested in suppressors. I suppose a F/A .22lr with a suppressor would be a hoot.

See my sig.  We're never repealing the NFA and Hughes through legislation.  It will have to come down via the courts.  Join the NRA, donate money, talk to your shooting friends, and one day we can have anything we want.

For me, I'd build an SBR M4,  buy suppressors for everything, buy a coach gun and chop it down, and get an MP5.  Then, I'd find some small children, pose them with the guns, and mail the pictures to the Brady Bunch.

I would build a new type of full-auto firearm.

...but it would probably use an existing type of mechanism.

Actually, a hand-held, electrically-operated, .22 cal Gatling-style minigun would be awesome fun and cheap to shoot.

1) I'd immediately convert my AR15 to M16, and thread a silencer on.

I'd turn my Ar-15 into a 10.5in FA suppressed, and I'd get a suppressor for my Glock 17 and my 1911.

After that, my dream rifles would be a suppressed .308 bolt action, and a FA Bullpup, either a Famas or an AUG.

Although a G36c would be nice too...

I would be so broke lol

I have seen variations of this question a lot today on different forums. Was there some news I missed or something?

As for my list: multiple M16 lowers, multiple HK sears, Draco, and a Glock would all get done right away. I'd have to think on the rest.
