Just found my first vehicle that I bought with my own money at 15. I delivered newspapers and cleaned horse stalls for months to pay for this pickup.

Just found it on Facebook Market place. In much worse shape than I sold it 21 years ago.

I really hope that whoever owns my first truck doesn't realize he can name his price.  I hope even more that I find it one day.  I'm having no luck.

Nothing screams 90's country like a Mo' Betta.

As for the first car, sure, if the next owner hadn't totaled it.

Fuck no. My first car was an 11 year old 1981 Plymouth Reliant whose engine shit the bed on me.

1983 Chevy Caprice Classic, 305 V8, white with a white vinyl roof.  No cup holders, clock was broken so I strapped a Timec wristwatch to the steering wheel.  The roof liner was held up with thumbtacks.  55,000 miles.

The cop that pulled my over a week after I got it said his first patrol car was a Caprice, and mine was pretty clean.

I'd buy it in a heartbeat, especially for the $1500 I sold it for.

When I bought my first vehicle (1968 Camaro), I put special consideration into the fact that though it
had a rather small back seat, it would still get me laid.

OP could have just as easily bought a chastity belt...

Yup. 1983 Buick Regal. Someone along the line before I got it dropped a 454 big block in it. Loved that car.

Looked similar to this one...

My first was a 1964 Impala SS. After it left the family (passed on to a sister and sold to an Aunt) it was sold to a kid the next town over. He promptly wrapped it around a tree. It sat in a field for about ten years then was scrapped with about 20 other similar cars in the early 80s.

OG full-size cars are great, so different from anything available now.

Just saw an early 80’s Lincoln Continental this morning on the way to work, haven’t seen one of those in years.

If I came across the 1963 Impala SS that I bought from the original owner in 1985 for sale somewhere, I'd be questioning the seller how he got it out of my storage building without me noticing!  One of these days I'm going to put it back together and drive it one more time before I die.

64 Plymouth Fury Station Wagon.
It was the old family wagon, it given to me by my dad as my first car in 1975.
318 V8, TorqueFlite typewriter transmission.
I gave it up when I bought my 1968 SS 396 El Camino in 1977.
It was parked at my parents house for a few years.
My Uncle got it running and used it as his daily driver for years until he passed in 1996.
It's sat in my Aunts driveway for years, she didn't want to get rid of it.
Her daughter had it towed to her house in the California high desert in 2002 when my aunt became an invalid in 2012.
Her daughter's boyfriend got it running and he's driving it around as an unrestored classic.
I don't think they would sell it since it's been in their family for so many years.
If I could buy it I would probably put a 440 in it along with a ford 9 inch posi and get the TorqueFlite built and drive it like that.

1970 Corvette LT1  350 cu in 370 hp

Nope. My first car  I bought for a couple hundred bucks was a 1976 Mustang II. It ran, had AC and heat, and the 6 months I owned it never had a problem with it. It was cheap transportation.

My second car yes. A 1979 Ws6 optioned Trans Am just for kicks.

I was given a 1975 Chevy Blazer as well and all I had to pay was registration which was like $20. I kept it forever, took the top off when not raining and again never had an issue with it and drove it 120k miles.

Same. It's old, kinda has an attitude but I'll be dammed if it doesn't always start and get me where I want to go. Plus, it's got a manual tranny and 4wd. I'll keep it till I can no longer fix it then pri make my own parts.

Yeah, I’d probably buy it.

‘94 Acura Integra GS-R

Maybe depending on the price but I'd have to look it over real well to see if the rust was anywhere fatal. It had huge holes in the cab. 1980 F250 4x4 with the 300 6. It was almost as good as it gets for me at that time but I don't know about now. That truck in good shape already gone through in a heartbeat.

OP what's the price on your truck? That's the stuff I'm looking at around here but I'm hoping for a 4x4. Problem is they are all getting stupid with prices if they are close to clean and the only smoking deals seem to be on non running stuff which I am not wanting to do right now.
