Came up in conversation the other day......

Outside of Casino Royale I cannot remember what was what so I have no opinion.
Daniel who?...
...I've never watched even a single bond movie, actually |

Quoted: "Casino Royale." They got worse as they went along, IMO. View Quote Skyfall was better than Quantum (not like that was a difficult thing), but yes. Still haven't seen the last one. The opening car chase in QoS was good though. I have no idea why Cubbie and co. didn't try to lock down the director and writing team for Casino Royale. |
Skyfall.
MI6 gets bombed. Javier Bardem's in it. The finale at Bond's childhood home. Death of M. Cinematography of Roger Deakins. It had everything. |
none of them, they all sucked and there's only 1 James Bond, Sean Connery
Fell asleep a few times watching Casino Royale -------------------------- the only thing I remember is Eva Green was in it and they kilt her... Never watched any of the others -------------- I've watched the old ones since they were all "New Releases" and countless times after...! |

View Quote This woman is a 2 on the Budweiser Scale... . . . . . . . . . . . (It would take 2 Clydesdales to pull me off of her...) |

I’m a sucker for a good origin-story.
Hands-down Casino Royale. It shows you the exact moment he became the James Bond the world would come to know and fear. The exact moment one man died and another was born. |

I didn't care for Craig as Bond. Only watched the first two.
I've seen every Bond film a dozen times or more. Except the Craig ones. |
I really liked “Skyfall”. Other than the stupid subway derail scene, it was Fleming’s Bond without the silliness found in many of the movies.
Quantum of Solace was good, too. Casino Royale was good but Craig seemed unsure of himself in the role. Spectre was OK but Craig seemed to be phoning it in to a certain extent. No Time To Die was my next favorite. I thought Craig was spot-on in his portrayal, plenty of plot, plenty of twist and we saw the Human side of Bond, much like OHMSS (which I consider to be one of the best in canon) |
Poll fail: None
Bond would not be a puss-cake that's afraid of inanimate objects like Craig is. |
I hated Skyfall, and I'll tell you why... Bond goes off the reservation and kidnaps M, to save her. Fine. Except... he doesn't fucking save her. She gets killed.
Bond would have been branded a loose cannon, the whole mess would be blamed on him, and he'd be buried under the goddamn prison. Suspension of disbelief is one thing, pants on head retarded is another. |
Casino royale but the story makes no sense, doesn’t matter good action.
Quantum of solace is under rated and a pretty good movie. Skyfall is pants on head retarded writing. Incredibly over rated The rest the writing gets worse and worse. |
Between Craig and that horrid Dench woman, they're almost unwatchable.
The one where he dies…so we can finally get a new Bond. Bond movies pretty much suck lately. Q is a peter puffer. M is dead and gone…only to be replaced by the serial killer from Red Dragon. The only redeeming feature from the most recent movie was Ana de Armas.

The whole get captured to escape plan, so many things had to happen for him to escape. Not get caught here, train do that there, plug in computer here etc etc. Now, why? He knows where the hearing is, why not just turn up there and kill her, etc etc |
For me, it's a tossup between Casino Royale & Skyfall.
Craig was closer to the Bond of Fleming's books than any of the other actors. "Would that be shaken or stirred, Mr. Bond?" "Do I look like I give a damn?" |
Tough Question, the best movie was indeed Casino Royal. The Best Bond movie for aficionados was Skyfall. Lots and lots of references to earlier movies in the genre.
I think I saw every Pierce Bronsnan bond and not a single Daniel Craig Bond.

The only thing it was missing was fucking dominoes... maybe a bowling bowl falling onto a seesaw. At multiple points, it hinged on things he couldn't control. The two greatest sins of the Craig-era Bond films were utterly wasting Javier Bardem as Silva, and Christoph Waltz as Blofeld. |

Of course casino Royale is the best but no time to die is awesome for Anna de Armas and the Aston Martin mini gun scene.
Casino Royale is the best Craig Bond movie without a doubt, followed by Skyfall. I’m not sure the hate about the movies being unbelievable, none of them, the Connery, Moore, Dalton, Lazenby, or Brosnan films, none are believable.
And while I agree that Sean Connery is THE Bond, Craig and Dalton play it closest to the book for what it’s worth. Y’all can fight me but Roger Moore was the worst Bond. Can’t say George Lazenby even counts. |
I wouldn't know, never watched any of them.
I remember reading an article about how he showed up for location filming for his first Bond film and admitted that he couldn't drive a stick. If my memory is right, he said Bond should be a gay. lol. Edit: Goldeneye FTW. |
Casino Royale tied with No Time To Die.
NTTD may be one of my favorite movies ever. |

Quantum of Solace, because the villain was an environmentalist scumbag.
Also, Strawberry Fields. Attached File Attached File |

View Quote I've been re-watching Penny Dreddful and she just makes my jaw drop during every scene. It was that series I realized she's actually a truly talented actress. |

Quoted: Came up in conversation the other day...... View Quote Honestly, i really disliked his portrayal and the entire arc in general. One of the worst bonds imo. Of course, roger moore was my fav so no accounting for taste. |

I liked Casino Royale because it wasn't a bunch of over the top bullshit. He wasn't some Royal Navy fag, he was actual ex SAS. Actually brought into the 20th century with his pistol etc.
