hold the bcg in and keep dirt and junk from infiltrating the upper.
I have a gun case with 1 lower and 3 uppers. I switch uppers at the range. This would be perfect for this. |

Ask ML to make you one out of leather with a bedazzled carry handle. Probably sell for $190 at larue…

Close the damn dust cover, bolt stays in problem solved at no expense.

So what are you going to suggest using when a truck runs over your upper and your fancy upper diaper fails? The point is just that the dust cover doesn't hold the bolt against any sort of more than gentle motion... the answer to your question is probably "curse loudly" but "upper diaper" would be an awesome name for such a product |

Upper bottom toppers are convenient when storing multiple uppers.

Quoted: Quoted: When I travel I usually break an AR in half because it fits my luggage Pelican then. It'd be nice to have something to keep the BCG in place and keep oil off my clothes. ?? You mix gun parts with your clothes? Gun stuff on the bottom of the case, towel over it and everything else on top of that. |

9mm blowback uppers could really use those, if they'll work with a 9mm bolt.

I fixed this problem with a 0.02 cent zip tie.
The silly things people will part their money for.. |

Drove from Indiana to Yellowstone and back with my AR in two pieces. Not even once did the BCG fall out.
To be fair I didn't hold it by the barrel and shake it over concrete, or swing the upper around like a baseball bat, or rub it all over my clothes, so probably not a real test... |

I’d actually like one. I pull my uppers off the lowers to fit into my Pelican when I’m flying to compete. My upper is at the mercy of the TSA morans during inspection. |

View Quote This is why you wrap your upper in a small towel. I carried a broken-down AR in my weekly travel duffel bag this way for two years. Never an issue and never thought I needed a device to hold the BCG in. I'm more OCD than most, and this is too OCD for me. |

I also pull batteries out of everything and take pics of my scope turrets if I have anything other than 0-0 dialed in. I don’t trust tsa. |
