No, not at all, and it's in the middle of the state with no airport nearby which makes the fact that we have a California welcome center so odd.

Yes. Fort Worth has the Stockyards and cowboy museum stuff. People come here for that stuff.
|

I live in San Diego. So, yes. It's a tourist destination. When people are bored of Disneyland they head down here.

A little. There are wineries, and some sites of interest to people like me. Meaning nuke geeks, so there isn’t exactly a booming tourist industry.

Probably not but we have some really cool history.
And it isn't that J. Cash was here singing at the prison although most probably come for that |

Yes, route 66 runs right through it and home of will rogers. Also, the JM davis gun museum in here and the Will Rogers memorial. South of me is the hay capital of the world.

Jax, FL. Lots of tourists driving through on I95, but that’s it

The area I live in specifically is not a popular tourist hotspot. It's quite rare to see foreigners around here. The wider area of Metro Manila, absolutely. There's some places that almost have more foreigners than Filipinos (think in and around Makati, BGC, etc)

Only if you want to see where Elvis lived/died or get murdered.
Originally from Lakeland, FL. Yeah, there was not much to do there. But plenty of fun to be had by going east or west by 30-40 minutes. |

Yes, but I'm afraid it's headed down the same road as LA, San Fran, Seattle, etc.... Found this in the road across from my apartment complex, where a Salvation Army Emergency Shelter is located. Fortunately, I don't have much invested in Wilmington. https://i.ibb.co/7CqsYcW/58829359392-7-FA28092-B159-4-AAE-AD31-73-A0-C5388-D2-A.jpg View Quote That's terrible. |

Mine (Lakeland, FL) sure as hell isn’t. A lot of tourists drive through it on the interstate, though. This place is great for sight seeing if you’re looking for meth heads with neck tattoos and ankle monitors. View Quote |

Not so much a city or town (although our closest town has the tourist trains) but our county is a tourist hotspot for skiing, whitewater rafting, hiking, mountain biking, fishing and hunting (and riding the scenic tourist trains).

June July and August,
My AO is packed with sun worshipers. The rest of the year it is nice and quiet. Half the houses are rentals and only get used in the summer time. |
|
Yes, mostly because I am a short distance from Cooperstown, so we have hotels, restaurants and parking.
It’s annoying as fuck. |

The last one I lived in was a college town and a beach town. Tourists in the summer, college kids during the rest of the year. Orientation and move-in weeks combined the best of both. Local news and radio would remind everyone to avoid the college area during those times because of traffic issues.
Live in the country now, away from both hassles, and don't miss it one bit. |

Montreal is definitely a tourist destination.
Old Montreal, The F1 Grand Prix, Jazz Festival, Just For Laughs comedy festival, Pride Parade |
|
Yes.
PIA sometimes, but it saved us economically when the Navy base shut down. |
|
Townsend, TN -yes. The whole Sevier county area is, I am 30 min from PF.
|
|
Yeah, we even have the tourist trinket beach stores and superoverpriced "seafood" restaurants.

|
Every weekend, more Florida plates than the local population.
