So this happened:
I have a crew working like 80 miles from where most of the crew is from/lives. None of my guys have said they know anyone in the area. We walk into a yard to speak with a guy about cutting some trees in his yard, he’s cordial and says do what we want. Then, as we turn to walk to the truck, he says, “hey, jimmy (made up name) still with y’all?” Me and the employee with me turn back and are like “yea, he’s on that tractor down there”. We figured they used to fish together or whatever, weird bc jimmy hasn’t said anything about anybody, he’s not familiar with the roads or anything in the area. Other dude: “that’s my dad, he abandoned me when I was a child”  Hold up dude you gotta warn somebody before you drop something like that!! |
