That has the potential to be really cool if picked up by the right people.

Just watched JW2 last night. Pretty good ... up till he chose Glocks over HKs. At least when he ran out of bullets, he was able to use the Glook as a grenade, and kill 6 bad guys.
I'd def give the Continental a look. |

I want them to explain what the coins are worth. It made sense right up until Common paid for two drinks with a coin.

I hope Ian McShane has a role in the show, even though he may be busy with his American Gods show.

I would give it a shot.
I love JW JW:2 had some stuff that made me go with some off the wall repetitiveness and such. I still enjoyed it for just being a movie though. |

View Quote The Continental is basically the bank - all transactions flow through it. They are the source of the coins, and presumably set the exchange rate, as it's the Continental that gets paid when a hit is completed (I think). They basically control the money supply, and can inflate or deflate to suit market conditions. Or, they are worth spot price per weight, and hit men just have so many of them they spend them like pennies. |

Great idea. Unfortunately there have been a number of great ideas that have suffered because of poor execution. I really hope they can pull this one off.

They'll fuck it up, just like Homeland, and 24, and Taken, and Prsion Break, and on and on and on...

hopefully it's done right and kicks as much ass as JW. Wonder if it will tie in to the movies like Marvel does with their TV shows and movies.
I'll be pissed if they screw it up. |

Meh, movies weren't that great. They essentially redefined the cheesy 80s action movie with less 80s cheese, aiming and reloading. I enjoyed it for what it was but won't care to watch this.

I liked the first movie. It had a decent story to go along with the action. The second movie... I struggled to stay awake It was just so repetitive and just lacked any substance to keep me interested. I'd check out a TV show spin off.. but my hopes are not very high. View Quote |

I actually fell asleep during the second one. I didn't think it was really all that great. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

Yes!
Put it on a premium network that can show blood and swear. |

HBO, FX or AMC
I don't think it can work on network tv. But what do I know. |
