GOP Rep Lauren Boebert proudly admits SINGING during Beetlejuice musical performance in Denver before being kicked out with friend 'after vaping and taking photos, then telling staff: "Do you know who I am?"'


GOP congresswoman Lauren Boebert was filmed lashing out at theater staff after being booted from a Beetlejuice performance for singing along - with staff claiming she also vaped and took photos during the performance.

The Colorado representative, who earlier this year became a grandma aged 36, was filmed being escorted out of the show at Denver's Buell Theatre.

Surveillance footage shows Boebert, wearing a tight, low-cut gold dress and high heels, making a considerable fuss as she and a hunky mystery man are ordered out.



She can be seen snapping a selfie as she leaves the auditorium and angrily bares her teeth at staff as she is escorted through the lobby.

According to The Denver Post, the lawmaker at one point declared 'Do you know who I am?' Afterwards, Boebert and her smartly-dressed date were caught on camera walking off through the empty nighttime streets of the Mile High City.











Boebert is said to have been ejected after being given a warning, only to continue her bad behavior during the second act.

Video shows security personnel coming up to Boebert and a mystery man while they sat along the aisle in the theater.

The Republican admitted she was removed from the theater in a social-media post, downplaying her alleged behavior.

'It's true, I did thoroughly enjoy the AMAZING Beetlejuice at the Buell Theatre and I plead guilty to laughing and singing too loud!' she wrote.



Singing along with performers at a musical is generally considered to be extremely taboo behavior.

'Everyone should go see it if you get the chance this week and please let me know how it ends!' Boebert added in her social-media post.

An incident report noted the two received a warning at intermission about their behavior. But five minutes into the second act, security officials got another complaint about a person being loud and recording the show.




They told me they would not leave,' an usher said, according to the report. 'I told them that they need to leave the theater and if they do not, they will be trespassing. The patrons said they would not leave. I told them I would (be) going to get Denver Police. They said go get them.'

The surveillance video shows Boebert and her mystery man on the aisle of the theater when two staff members approach. The security staff speaks with the duo - though it's unclear what was said - and then Boebert and the man are led from their seats.




The two are then spotted coming up the stairs, where the 36-year-old congresswoman can be seen stopping in a doorway to take a selfie.

The security guards continue to walk with Boebert and the man, as the representative adjusts her dress.

They reach the lobby, where a clearly angry Boebert turns and puts her finger up to the security rep and speaks to him. The footage does not have audio of what exactly was said.

An official report from the Denver Arts & Venues suggested that once Boebert and her unnamed friend had been escorted into the theater's lobby, they made comments along the lines of, 'do you know who I am?' and 'I will be contacting the mayor.'






Boebert then turns back around and continues to walk out of the theater.

Police were called to the scene and stayed until Boebert and her friend left, a report noted.

Several staff members made faces at the scene as the congressman and her friend walk out of the front doors. The two are then spotted outside and holding hands as they walk away from the theater.

A campaign manager for Boebert, Drew Sexton, gave a statement about the incident to local media: 'I can confirm the stunning and salacious rumors: in her personal time, Congresswoman Lauren Boebert is indeed a supporter of the performing arts (gasp!) and, to the dismay of a select few, enthusiastically enjoyed a weekend performance of ‘Beetlejuice.''

He said the representative encourages everyone to see the play, but 'with a gentle reminder to leave their phones outside of the venue.'

Sexton said Boebert used her phone to snap a picture of the show, as she was unaware that photos weren't allowed.

-She was targeted and unfairly kicked out.

-She intentionally created a situation because it will inevitably get her name in the paper, let her play the persecution narrative, and probably get some free interviews and media so she can share "her version of the story." Free publicity.

-She had a few too many martinis and didn't read the room. Normal people pick up on cues. Entitled people get louder and more obnoxious when they can tell they're irritating others around them. This tends to be "new money" people that think they're the biggest fish in the room not knowing "money talks, real wealth whispers."


I'm curious how everyone else is dressed. If she's the only one in the crowd with that shiny prom queen dress while everyone else is wearing typical proper evening or formal wear, I'm assuming it's for the attention and all pre-planned. As real as Kardashian drama when one of the sisters is "candidly" caught getting the mail in full make-up and a ballroom gown.

Not much more annoying at a show or performance than someone talking or singing over the act.  My observation of those situations is it is usually drunkards or fucking trash doing those things.

Hard to tell what actually happened based on that article.  But it is entirely possible that they knew exactly who she was - and she was not welcome.
