Cool! Just switched over and set DVR. I dig Les, he seems like the real deal unlike that parachuteing wanna be.
Been eyeballing one of those axes he designed for the hottie.... |

Spoiler alert!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I'll go out on a limb here and guess that after about ten weeks of this show being on tv, the season will end and there will be no (-0-) proof of a Bigfoot existing except blurry or partial images, no body, no bones, no hair, scat, blood, or semen that proves the existence of this mythical beast. |

I'm watching it now. Did anyone else catch that video they showed at the first of the show then zoomed in??? WTF!!!
|
|
It would be better as a regular survivorman gig. The fact that there is no such thing as "bigfoot" kinda ruins the show. Talk about being built on a false premise....
|
|
Why bother to set out apples without game cameras?
Unless you did set out cameras and they showed nothing, but you still had a show to present... |

Several years ago during the first run of Survivorman, Les had a pretty strange encounter late at night in the Canadian wilderness that scared the crap out of him, there has been a lot of speculation that bigfoot was involved. This show is probably am outgrowth of that.

Les Stroud seems like a stand up guy who won't BS someone just for ratings. I think of those episodes where he has to cut them short because he gets evacuated.
There are only two stories that make me think that there possibly could be Bigfoot, Les Stroud's account and Teddy Roosevelt's account. |

It's coming back on for the 2nd time around now.
Freaky as shit intro! |

Disappointed to see Stroud willingly associate himself with Standing and his lifeless, Ewok costume hoaxes.

Filming at night...Maybe try some thermal imaging?
And OMG!!! The apples are GONE! It's like they don't have any animals in Alberta. Except bigfoot. |

There could have been more thought into utilizing technology to capture evidence, rather than documenting a personal journey of "lets see what this bigfoot fanatic can convince me of" The confidence of "Did you hear that ?- that's a bogfoot!" as they walk along. Not sure. Thermal, How about taking some samples of the prints, or taking apples and putting them in a strategic spot or in a box where you can collect DNA evidence as something has to be touched before getting the apple. I must have dozens of squatches in my woods as there are numerous medium and small trees tipped over - many in a pattern. I guess they didn't consider tree disease - I find many trrees, even oug ones, suddenly die and tip/break in the middle of a woods. I've even been in a woods when a large seemingly healthy tree fell over (scared the crap out of me) - Sounded loud and scary - The leaping to Squatch conclusion by that one escort was disappointing. |

I have a hard time taking anyone seriously who thinks they are finding Bigfoot
|
|
When's the next episode air? I missed the first and it isn't online anywhere.

Unless he is one hellva con man I think Les is the real deal.
I think he is convinced in his own mind that Bigfoot is a real possibility. Whether it is real or not is up to Les and others to prove. I honestly don't think it is real but then again I haven't been out in the woods as much as Les. |

Cody Lundin's replacement on Dual Survival is going to be big foot. He'll fill his shoes nicely.
