Quoted: Itll be well worth it in the end View Quote It will still never be your first, you always remember your first. And I am going to be a dick, just because I want a 53 in 300 blk. I hope this gives you fits getting it to run right, not enough to chop it. BUT say a jam every other mag or so. |

View Quote Ha damn man dont wish that bad juju on me I still have a scar on my left hand from demilling the trunion the first time around to remind me of that gun |

Quoted: For sure. It performed well and its successful operation is what led me here today. Had I failed and the gun hadn't of worked Im not sure I would have tried any other HK building Ill be saving the magwell for nostalgia. It certainly holds a special place. That said it also deserves to be done up right. View Quote |

Quoted: Do it as an SD View Quote So Ive seen the 'SD' 53 variant out there that's 300 blackout. The reason why I would never do one is its not really a SD in the sense that a MP5SD is a SD. The one I saw just had a welded on SD cage with a normal muzzle can. I guess in my mind that's just blasphemy. A SD needs a true reflexing can with ports in the bbl. The ports aren't needed for the 300 cartridge. I love my MP5SD with that said. |

Sad to see the original build get the chop but your builds are always a blast to watch come to fruition.
I’m in. Btw your welding skills have greatly improved. Well done. |

View Quote Is that an RCM barrel you added a 3 lug adapter to? |

Quoted: Is that an RCM barrel you added a 3 lug adapter to? View Quote Correct The idea behind this build was slightly bigger MP5 breaking 2000 FPS so I always thought the 3 lug was a nod to that idea I use a 3 lugged 45 can for the subs, which honestly sounds pretty dang good. One day I might replace it with a more specific can. Once I get my trumpbux I was planning at throwing it towards a wolfman for this gun |

I wish 53’s were more readily available. I’ve wanted one for ages. Just never had the money. But now that I could buy one of a whim they are no where to be found.

Where do you find 300blk barrels? Parts kits? Jigs? Mags? Or is a NATO mag adapter available and work? Ryan |
