Not as shiny as Ken's but it's mine and it's the nicest one I've got. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v602/nascar3n8fan/Justin3.jpg How are you healing Blitz? Are you gonna be back to 100%. Still love that gun. |

Still love that gun. Doing better Sir, thank you for asking. Doesn't look like I'll see 100% but trying to get as close as I can. I have an appointment set up with a plastic surgeon that specializes in hands to see if he can get some scar tissue removed and free up the ring finger tendon that's stuck. I love that gun too and it will remind me of you guys and your generosity for the rest of my life. Sorry for any hijack of the thread |

What are the requirements of a BBQ Gun, other than being a "pretty" gun? Stainless/Chrome? Exotic wood/ivory? Antique design? Engraving? High level of hand-finishing? Personalized? Matched pairs? Custom leather?
I have some very attractive firearms, but nothing chromed, engraved, with ivory grips, etc, etc. I'm thinking that the closest thing I could offer would be my S&W 586-4, but I'd have to put some nice stocks on it first. The rubber houges are great for carry in the woods, HD, and range trips, but are not that pretty. |

It was a feature in American Handgunner. The gun was the combined effort of Chuck Rogers and Bob Rodgers, two of the best 1911 smiths ever. The leather was custom done by Josh Bulman. The grips are desert ironwood and were made by Esmeralda. Here's a few more pics. |

Wow, there is some very extremely nice hardware in here. I'm not sure I would be able to pull the trigger on some of those, freakin beautiful. |

Yes, it started as a raw frame and slide from Les. |
