Loughlin, 56, was sentenced to two months in prison at an online hearing Friday in federal court in Boston conducted via Zoom by U.S. District Judge Nathaniel Gorton. Earlier, Giannulli, 57, was sentenced to five months in prison by Gorton. Judge thinks it is "breathtaking fraud.".....but 2 months is enough time. Fuck the Judge...he doesn't have to agree to 2 months. Give them the max if it is "breathtaking"....or STFU.

But rioters pretty much get a free pass.
On a related topic, how is what she did any different than someone getting preferential admission treatment based on their race? She used money for an advantage while the other used their skin pigment. Personally, I would be ashamed to have to use either to get an advantage, and would be equally pissed off if I was looked over for either reason. |

I guess I'm just happy that Federal prosecutors have prosecuted all the serious crime in this country and therfore have free time on their dockets to prosecute...admissions fraud. I mean, I'm used to human traffickers being released because the AUSA didn't have the resources to go after "little fish" but obviously all that's taken care of now and we can go after the truly dangerous criminals.
