Rich people doing rich people shit.
No different than Joe Kennedy giving millions to Harvard to get his idiot sons in. |

Well thank God that criminal mastermind isn't roaming these city streets for the next two months.

But paying a bribe is the crime, and they will look the other way, if you support the right political group, support the wrong political group and you will be charged. All the while, the POS that took the bribe is free to keep taking bribes. Isn't that just peachy.... I mean they are going all out for clown world 2020. It's a disgrace. |

Judge seems to keep mentioning their wealth..as if that made it more heinous.

Quoted: pretty sure the guy who took the bribe got 5 years, the only reason this is a problem is that UCLA didn't get paid off View Quote I hope that's true. I just remember right when this started the prosecutor was on tv and was asked about the people that took the bribes and he said "taking a bribe isn't a crime, paying one is, and that he wasn't bringing charges against them, and to his knowledge they still had there jobs at the university". To me that was a WTF moment. Made me mad and disgusted and haven't been willing to look at any news about it since. Like how I feel about the way Portland is handling the riots... It's like it's all clown world. I hope you are right and that they did a 180 and went after those taking bribes, but with everything I am seeing I find it a little hard to by. It like they want to show people the rule of law is gone and it's all about power and control. |

Quoted: Lori Loughlin and her fashion designer husband, Mossimo Giannulli, will serve brief terms in federal prison after they were formally sentenced Friday under the terms of their plea bargains on conspiracy charges in the nation's college admissions scandal, described by the judge as a "breathtaking fraud." Loughlin, 56, was sentenced to two months in prison at an online hearing Friday in federal court in Boston conducted via Zoom by U.S. District Judge Nathaniel Gorton. Earlier, Giannulli, 57, was sentenced to five months in prison by Gorton. View Quote Are they actually going to put her in prison while they are releasing violent thugs because of the Covid? link View Quote It’s white collar minimum security prison, so yes. Probably plenty of room with nice open areas to maintain social distancing. |

I'm disappointed she got time. Fuck the FBI! A sorry bunch of corrupt liars. I wouldn't convict John Gotti or El Chappo on the word of a FBI agent.

She reports in 90 days.
I bet she won't see a day inside. Put a monitor on her now, and confine her to a horrible home prison. No visitors, no parties, no phone, and no internet access. |

Quoted: But rioters pretty much get a free pass. On a related topic, how is what she did any different than someone getting preferential admission treatment based on their race? She used money for an advantage while the other used their skin pigment. Personally, I would be ashamed to have to use either to get an advantage, and would be equally pissed off if I was looked over for either reason. View Quote They tried to use the money they paid as a bribe as a tax write off. Instaed of just paying the bribe to the fixer, there was a fake charity that they sent the money to. Then they then they claimed the 'charitable contribution' as a tax write off. So not only did they drop over a $500,000 bribe to get their idiot daughter fraudulently admitted under a scholarship, Laughlin and her husband (already billionaires) tried to write the bribe off as a tax deduction. Since it went across state lines they were charged with wire fraud. |

FIRST: Fuck that Leftist bitch, her cunt husband and their underachieving crotch-fruit.
Both my kids got into good schools on their own merit and we pay a hefty tuition for the privilege. However, I am still not sure EXACTLY what laws they broke. As far as I can tell they are guilty of being Rich while White. As someone else posted, these schools pick and choose admissions on many factors beyond individual achievement (skin color, sex, national origin) |

I thought that bribing your child's way into school was the thing to do in America. Except the bribe was usually made by providing the university with a new building or a new library.

So she bribed some people and was willing to pay all tuition for her daughter's college. Yeah that sounds horrible.....
My understanding is her daughter didn't even appreciate the parents effort and stand by them. |

Will be in a Federal Country Club and probably like Epstein free to be out on the streets for 12 hours a day. Boy the really made an example out of her. What a fucking joke.
