The last lockout tuned away a lot of fans. This one should do even more damage.

It certainly will if it’s still going on by spring training. Sucks.

Good... they get paid way too much... shut that shit, football, basketball, nascar, all down...

I’m more concerned about… nope actually don’t give a flying fart in the wind about any professional sport.

Lost interest in MLB after the 94/95 strike. Even my wife who is/was a huge sports nut has lost all interest in professional sports due to recent events.

Which sportsball do they throw?
Fuck them. Fuck them into insolvency. |

I bet I haven't watched a full televised game in over 10-years. Who cares whether they play or not?
|
|
I love the game, but haven't cared much for the league or its players since the 94' strike when I was a kid. I've been to several games at the college or smaller league level, but will continue to not give great gall darn about the majors.

Is this the thread where members see who can make the snarkiest comment about something they say they dont care about....

Been five years in the making. This one is gonna be a while, especially since the MLBPA seems determined to improve quality of life for minor leaguers

This is about greedy owners. Sound more like the players are trying to sell their services for more than the buyers (the owners) are willing to pay. Free market. Greedy players. It's hard to argue we're actually in any kind of economic danger when we still have a multi BILLION dollar industry based solely on people paying to watch other adults play games. |

meh, the only people that I remotely care about in this situation are the people who sell popcorn, hot dogs, etc at the games.

Owners are spending to make it seem like theyre not colluding |

Well, the Orioles have been sucking have been sucking since 1992, so a year of not hearing how bad they are on the radio every day, sounds good to me.
Can we get the NFL to join them? |
|
But...but...*MY* team.
You mean I will ahve to invest my emotion and energy into something of my own, instead of watching other grown men play a game? That sounds horrible. |

no fucks to give
MLB and every other pro sport could just disappear and not only would I not give a fuck I would not even notice |

For not caring, sure are a buncha folks posting. “Look at me! I don’t care, so I’m posting!”
We get it. You’re so cool for not liking things we like. But thanks for the reminder. Anyway. MLB was finally making headway again with attendance and TV ratings up. A prolonged lockout is he last thing they need. If they’re smart, they’ll have it all wrapped up before Christmas Eve. But I doubt it as MLBPA has an axe to grind. |

Um, aren't they between seasons right now? I'm pretty sure I recently heard the World Series was done for the year.

MLB? If you're still watching and care, you're part of the problem. Get your mind right.

Have not paid attention to MLB since the 1994 strike. Lost me as a fan forever.

Interesting, the difference between this thread and the union threads.
